Assuming that you do use Firefox, then you probably want to use Adblock Plus, which should remove the problem on streams, Maggie.
    https://addons.mozilla.org/en-us/firefox/addon/adblock-plus/

I'd also check that your media player is up to date. If it's the standard one that comes with Windows, then you should be able to do it from this page:

The window media plug- in pop up is spam, you get them on all flash stream sites so its not needed, only saying this as Maggie isn't that technical so best not to download stuff which isn't needed.

All Maggie has to remember is have the latest flash player and when she visits any site, wait 30 seconds then left click any small X boxes, then the stream will start.

Had exactly the same issue a couple of weeks back. The ads do have a close x button but in some cases it's tiny. Also, you have to be VERY accurate to hit it correctly, making micro adjustments until the tooltip saying 'close' (or similar) appears and then clicking.
I spent 30mins wondering how to get rid of those ads too because it appeared the x button didn't work

    :D

I've just got home from the Lane and man I'm just delighted to see the lad in a Spurs shirt. It's only taken about 18 months for my (and Roo's) wish to be granted but it was well worth the wait. He looked class for me, settled in as if today was is 20th appearance and the assist to Siggy and initial pass to Paulinho who laid on the second just shows he's exactly what we've been missing in the creative department. I know I shouldn't get too excited after just 1 appearance but I can't help it, I've believed for ages that he's the player we've needed, especially after the loss of Modric and I just hope he can continue this sort of performance and also build on it.

Rose was MOTM for me though, I've been very critical of the choice to make him number 1 LB but with the Arsenal goal aside, he's looked very good, the block in front of goal capped off what was already a great performance and he deserved the attentions of the crowd singing his name.

Paulinho too was just a cut above, the guy reminds me so much of Yaya Toure (yet potentially better), he was just everywhere, you'll see him well inside our own half one second and then in the opponents box the next. Well worth the £17m outlay.

Vertonghen was just typically class today, such a super CB and Sigurdsson also deserves a lot of praise, took his first goal brilliantly and positioned himself perfectly for his second. That will have done him the world of good and no doubt his confidence will have been boosted.

Townsend was the only frustrating factor, for all his running and giving the FB an awkward time, he was far too greedy and was trying to score from impossible angles, it's as if he was trying to be Bale.

Overall though we looked fantastic as a TEAM, no doubt Norwich were below par but we made them look even worse, we closed everything down and our build up play was a joy to watch, they had to result in hoofing it as the likes of Soldado, Townsend, Sig and Eriksen were closing their defenders down so quickly. Would have liked to have seen Lamela come on earlier but I presume he'll be starting on Thursday with the hope of being ready for a start against Cardiff.

    Ratings:

Lloris - 5.5 - Didn't have much to do but dropped an easy cross and was silly punching the ball outside of his area giving Norwich a dangerous free kick which could've left us with a nervy finish to the game had they scored from it.

Rose - 9 - Was up and down the pitch all game, solid defensively and block I mentioned capped off a fine display.
Vertonghen - 8 - Oozes class, up there with Kompany as the best CB in the league in my opinion.
Dawson - 7 - Typical Daws performance, glad he got the Arsenal performance out of his system.
Walker - 7 - Wasn't troubled defensively, got up the pitch well, looking a far cry from last season's performances which is great.

Paulinho - 8 - Nicknaming him the Elegant Engine. He's everywhere and can do everything, pass, dribble, tackle, head... Can't wait for him to score his first league goal, well over due and thoroughly deserves one.
Dembele - 6.75 - Gave away a few passes but done well defensively and controlled the midfield alongside Paulinho.
Townsend - 5.5 - Made some nice runs but had no end product, shot way too many times from silly positions. Would've subbed him on around 60 mins for Lamela if I was AVB.
Eriksen - 8 - The creative genius we've been missing, 1 game 1 assist and also helped create the 2nd.
Sigurdsson - 8 - Our match winner, didn't do much else but deserves the high rating for getting both goals, the first one especially was tucked away superbly.

Soldado - 7 - Full of running, unlucky not to score with his back heel, hopefully once he and Eriksen get to know one another he'll have a great supplier to start banging in more goals.

SOS, I really noticed Paulinho at WHL as well. When you see the whole field all the time, I think you get a better sense of how influential he is.

Yeah he's a superb player RWAEB. The complete midfielder in my opinion, doesn't have a single weakness.

My head is spinning! I think I have mislead you & Inda. My browser is Internet Explorer. Mozilla Firefox is an icon on the screen which I've not used as I didn't know what it was. I presume this means adblock-plus is not relevant. Whatever happened to Sopcast. I was ok with that, no problems but it seems to have vanished. I may give up on live streaming altogether & follow on match thread & radio when not on telly. Thanks for your patience & help. (must be like dealing with your old grandma)

Sadly I was roped into something inescapable today so didn't see or listen to the match but have a read a report or two and it seems like we were good value and should have scored more. I said any more than 2-0 would be a bonus and seeing as what Norwich achieved against us in the last couple of seasons then this result is creditable, just above satisfactory but not great but well done the lads all the same.

Utd without that dubious penalty would only have won 1-0 against Palace which is not good and Arsenal did what was expected against a load of crap from Geordieland. City at Stoke is nothing to really mention but the result of the day was at Everton, that's Chelsea goalless in two matches now. Lucky to beat Villa which is a team I just don't know about and I still maintain that Chelsea should only be on 4 points. Has their luck run out or is going back a mistake, I think maybe both.

I'm waiting to see what Liverpool do.

Rodgers manager of month, Sturridge player of month. Put me down for a pool loss and Sturridge sent off or injured

I know what you mean Spurm but I think Liverpool will do an Arsenal when they lose one, drop down the table.

Strangely I can see them doing worse when Suarez returns. A few said it last season but they look a better team without him. Hopefully like us and bale

Never mind all that Boss, Maggie, pay attention! :) As soon as you can see the match going on behind those annoying ads, just click the large screen option on the match screen toolbar (at the bottom), the ads just disappear, you get the odd one covering the toolbar, just click that one out, no need to do all the others. <ok>

Bale won't last at Real even though he scored.
