If you have a look on their match thread from today and other threads he is getting a right pasting off the Hull fans, some are saying things like "its just like playing with 10 men if he is in the team"

There were a few rumours kicking about when he left here but overall ive always got the impression DG gives 100% its a shame to see him apparently struggling at yet another club as I think he is good enough to get goals in this division, indeed he has proved it!

Maybe Laudrup is a lot more astute than we think? its certainly looking like one of the best deals he did since coming here, using that money to put towards a top level striker like Bony. I will always look out for DG and hope he does well elsewhere,he scored some memorable goals for us and was a firm favourite with the fans even though he was here a short time .

Whats your thoughts on Danny, has he let his standards drop and got a bit complacent ? maybe it was a master stroke to dump one of the clubs highest earners when we did ?

I will allways feel that Graham was unprefessional, to make so much trouble, that Laudrup had to sell Swanseas only "real" striker, and leave the squad without a real striker for half a season.

I have no problem, a player do not like what the manager do, but shut up, and wait until the summer so the club you are playing in, can buy a proper replacement.

Sad to say, but fucck him.

I usually agree with this kind of stance but I have to say that he doesn't deserve the "**** him" from us really does he ? when he played he scored, when he was on the bench he sucked it up and kept his mouth shut to the media in those respects he was professional.
Other aspects of his life were perhaps something that Laudrup was just not gonna put up with and lets be honest,if there is one player who knows what it takes to be a top level pro its Laudrup !

Maybe Danny was a silly boy and there is more to his leaving than meets the eye perhaps but regardless of what people think they may have heard he will always get a good reception down here from the jack faithful for what he did on the field :)

He just lost his way - and was taking others with him. I remember seeing him warming up with Ben Davies, and thought he was the last person Ben should be "buddied" with.

i said all along that dannyboy is not premiership standard. swans, sunderland and hull should tell him he needs to drop down a division...I still like him but not as a premiership player....

He was premiership standard. he scored 12 goals in his debut season thus proving your comments are not accurate.

As far as I see Graham didnt respect his teammates, fans, manager or club, by wanting to leave mid season when our striker situation was so bad.

To me it seem that he made trouble in the squad, since it is totally unheard of too skip your main (only) striker to another club mid-season. Something most have been wrong (the local Swansea fans seem to know more what happend).

Let he without sin ,cast the first stone or such other bollocks. He wasn't professional in the true sense of the word but he's obviously got his demons ,hopefully he'll see the light and come good .(sounds like a sermon I know)

Sadly for him he's another example of a player leaving us and going downhill

Does it matter now. He left us in january and has so far scored Zero goals for the 2 clubs he has played in.

Would rather talk about players we have now like Bony, Pozuelo etc.

Great summary. Sums up my position too. Wish him well.

I know it's been said many times before but still amazing how many players have left and done worse. The club is truly a lot more than the sum of it's parts.

If you'd rather do that then feel free to make a thread about them, for me all past and present players atr of interest ever heard the term"once a jack ,always a jack" or does that not mean anything anymore ?

    This. ^^^

Got no probem discussing previous players if there's a need, but no offence NJ but this isn't the first time you've put up a thread on DG since he left. Yesterday's news. Or maybe we should talk about Pratley? Sinclair? Sigurdsson played well yesterday so should we have a thread about him too?

I know what you're saying about previous players but once they've gone they've gone. Like others I'm far more interested in our team and the players that currently play for us.

Sinclair started on the bench yesterday. Where is Pratley? Siggy did well and appears well regarded by AVB

As ive said before, if you don't like the content don't read it, and sorry for saying but this is extremely relevant to our team. DG could score the goals to keep Hull up, they are a rival to us, same with Ki at sunderland and Sinclair at WBA .

Tell me that there is no need to discuss this? since when did you become judge of what is relevant and what isn't by the way ?

All thing Swans releated are relevant , including past players ! an if it wasn't for Laudrup selling DG then we wouldn't have been able to afford Bony ! these boys are playing for our rivals so don't be surprised if there are other releated threads to Sinclair,DG,siggy and Ki in the future! There will no doubt be something on Joe Allen too ,deal with it or just don't comment <ok>
