The only requirement for participating in this "esoteric" conversation is posessing some knowledge of the game. Sorry if you don't feel up to the task. Also, I realise that you were asking me whether I thought I knew more than Wenger. What's the difference? It's still the last resort of the lame debater. It's just funny that you, the man so critical of Wenger and Arsenal atm, would try and use it.
Riiiiiight, surrrrrrreeee. You made a point that I didn't grasp. What point was that, then? If ignorance is schooling you, then it is truly blissful, junior.
Fair enough. I'll just sign off by saying that I think Nasri perfomed better than considered in the second half of the season, and over the entire course, proved he had class that is hard to find. And also, I'm more dissappointed in players on very generous contracts all too happy to quietly remain than I am with Nasri for asking for more.
Ffs where's my arch-nemesis Bunburyist? I miss proving him wrong all the time and annoying the **** out of him.
Yeah but you miss him for different reasons. He's a married man AuHasardBendtner, look for a partner elsewhere. Nah seriously though, I do miss arguing with him over nothing. I used to just start random fights and arguments with him for no reason at all. Aaaaah good times
Wenger has made mistakes in the past over a few thousand pounds. Both Flamini and Ashley Cole left Arsenal because we were unfairly unwilling to pay players an even salary. (Cole wanted 60k when many of his peers were earning that or more) If Fabregas can earn 100k and an extremely injury prone RVP can earn 90k Nasri should be entitled to the same amount. The fact of the matter is they all have the same job - Footballers in Arsenals first team. Think of it like any other career.
Up until Nasri came out himeslef and stated that he wouldn't rule anything out i was happy to give him respect and ignore the rumours. But now he's gone and done that he has summed up the exact reason why this arsenal team dont win anything and continue to crumble whenever the going gets tough. He doesn't care about the shirt he's wearing, he's in it for the money and i for one would rather see him leave. This side needs to have heart, and needs to have players that want to win for the club. What's the point in holding onto a player who's sole interst is how much cash he can get out of us?
Least Nasri was one of your best players last year. Imagine how we felt when Joe Cole was putting in his stupid wage demands having spent 2 years injured or just ****e!! Players move on, life goes on. Look how well Joe's doing now, being linked as Spurs' 18th choice midfielder.
Cole has failed epically. i rated him pretty highly and was real hopeful that Arsenal would get him. I saw him as a very creative, direct midfielder who'd run at defenses and had a few tricks. You only get one short career in football, and he's really bombed out badly with his Liverpool move.
What shirt number do you think Nasri will wear at United? Do think he'll step straight into Scholes' No.18 shirt? I hope so, as I think he deserves his break. I would hope that most of you Gooners will break the habit of a lifetime and wish Nasri well as he begins his new journey, one that will, this time at last, lead him to glory. Perhaps some of you may even have it in your hearts to go out and buy a new "Nasri 18" shirt, in honour of one of your greatest ever players.
so i bit similar to the situation you had with ronaldo then? all that joyful send off and what not. (Y)
ha i'll give you that, but i'll much it with 4 words which despite what any s**rs fan will say now, still hurts. sol campbell - free transfer.
didn't the Spurs fans line up and give him a guard of honour as he left the stadium? thanking him for all his service as captain, wishing him well, and in no way chanting any form of abuse at him every time he returned to the lane?
