How poor was everybodies favourite Ledley today ??? Stokes is the class act in the team and Ambrose was ok the rest were poor against a hearts youth team
Why was he playing ??? We improved once mulgrew came on , as for Derk on the wing the new Regi Blinker , I am sorry ,though we won we only found hsd two pass marks , our crowd ole ole ,ole at one nil is pish as well
I dunno. Play him back to fitess? He hasn't been the Ledley we all love of late. Derk needs game time. His 20 minutes on debut were what we'll expect. Pukki doesn't look with the penalty box striker we need and it is that what we'll expect him to be. That goal has taken a bit of pressure off him in that regard.
I thought everyone played quite well. Apart from a 10 minute spell 2nd half Heats looked a poor second best all over the park.
Stoksey was the star turn yesterday. Thought the new boys did well. Never any danger of us losing yesterday. I didn't know Ledley had an injury, RB. Just thought he was losing interest this season. Forgive me, J Christ.
There was also some twitter exchange that I didn't quite understand that may present some challenges to his state of mind..... But that heat magazine stuff. Not saying I'm adverse to a spot of gossip.... I just didn't understand it.

Why not start Virgil? He was our most expensive signing. After two minutes you can see he is very comfortable on the ball, I love that in a centre half, he has a great range of passing and seems to read the game pretty well in front of him most of the time. As ive said before, if he could really defend he would be worth 20 million and he probably wouldnt be here. Thats not to say he wont eventually be worth that, he has huge potential. I think Lennon has to throw him in at the deep end in the Champions league, nothing to lose away to Milan, we are expected to lose. Probably the worst Milan team ive seen in my life by the way, 8/1 Celtic is terrific value, Matri will need time to settle in to the way AC play and ive never rated him that highly anyway, Balotelli takes the huff when things arent going his way, Robinho is finished and Kaka is a shadow of the player who ruled Europe for a few years. Not sure what set up they will go with against Celtic as they have been chopping and changing recently and have a lot of injuries, Montolivo and Poli are both missing which is good news for us as they are the creative force in the middle of the park for Milan and they dont have any similar class replacements in that department. Two who will start in midfield are Muntari and De Jong but we have nothing to fear from them in the attacking sense. El Sharaawi is out, which means either Robinho or Matri will start with Balotelli, Allegri might take a chance on Matri as he will anticipate a physical game and he had some success against us last season with Juve. Abate and De Sciglio are both out, Abate is one of their best players and they dont have a great right back for cover, either Constant or Emanuelson will start at left back with Zapata and Mexes at centre back. Mexes is not the player he once was either and he can be got at. Celtic should look to sit in and frustrate Milan rather than chase the ball in their half, let them play with a high line and effectively camp in our half, they will struggle to create clear chances without Poli and Montolivo up against two lines of Celtic defence, hopefully in the process annoying Balotelli and then try hit them on the break out wide as its fairly obvious that is our best chance of success. If we try to play through the middle Muntari and De Jong will snuff most of it out so its got to be wide. Perfect chance to for Borrigter imo, and hopefully Forrest is fit as well because if we have that pace on both sides, and can defend solidly, I honestly think we will never have a better chance to win in the San Siro. I dont often back Celtic, but 8/1 is a cracking price and im having a decent bit on.
