This evening, I feel insulted

If Atkinson is allowed to continue refereeing within the premier league, I will turn my back on football for good.

I cannot possibly invest so much emotion and enthusiam within a sport where one of the competitors can be reduced to defeat by the sheer incompetence of match officals, officials that rarely if ever experience permanant accountability.

Apologies for the drama, thoroughly disgusted.

 

I feel your pain. Referees are spoiling our beautiful game week in week out and nothing ever gets done about it!

For me that the beachball has nowt to do with Atkinson. Shocking refereeing. They need to be held more accountable as inderviduals. If the FA rightly make an example of him, it makes the incident easier to accept, but I'm not holding my breath
