Arsenal were class, but 2nd half we more than matched them. Diakite was immense again. We deserved at least a draw but once again bad referreeing spoilt a good game. That ref needs to be fined and suspended the fooking to$$pot! A clear goal and a red card and he got both wrong!!!
I'd take the positives from this chaps. Sounds like Sunderland were on top nearly all second half. Certainly not a performance from a 20th placed team, and you'll be on the up soon enough. Don't take the ref's bias too seriously... WE ALL KNOW that any of us lower surfs are lucky to get a ref who won't give the "top team" a few throw away penalties, never-mind getting a totally fair one
Battling performance I thought. It takes time to knit together a team and when it takes the field against a team like Arsenal early on in the season you cant really expect anything other than an Arsenal win.
