He'll be gone after Charlton, losing that will be the final straw.

To be fair to Lomas, it was the players that let him (and us) down today.

Forde was an absolute shambles in goal.....the first goal was entirely his fault....terrible punch out from a corner straight to the corner taker and he didn't deal with the resulting cross.
Second goal a speculative shot from a Derry clearance..and then after Lowry was sent off ( I am certain that he won the ball first but his follow through was awkward ) it was downhill from there on in.

Forde seems hellbent on long punts forward to the left wing position..hardly ever looks to throw the ball out or make a short pass
****tu is no longer worthy of a place in the team...slow ( he turns as fast as a supertanker) and unable to find a team mate from any sort of clearance.
Beavers first move when he gets the ball is a first time pass to Lowry...putting him under the pressure with every pass

The only bright spots were McDonald and Waghorn

Henry is weak when he is tackled...
and Trotter was culpable for the last two goals...

Today we were not even as good as ****e.......far worse than that...although there were signs in the opening minutes of some slick passing movements....but a few minutes is not good enough....the players need to be on it for 90 minutes....

don't blame Lomas blame the lack of effort and application of the majority of the players, although I am mystified as to why Robinson is not starting instead of ****tu and why Keogh is even in the squad (cannot trap a bag of cement)

thats my rant over...I am going to lie down in a dark room for a few days so that I am in a better frame of mind for the Blackpool match on Tuesday....

    bring it on

I agree with you, Mighty, but is it all a bit too late? I don't know how far down the gurgler we can go before its too far to climb back up. Another manager might do the trick, but who? This one doean't seem to have any answers and EIO's comment about the players not performing must, in some measure, come back to management.

No chance of Spackman, he is working out here with Aljazeera Sport along side Andy Gray and Richard Keys, mega bucks and no worries - Wallies, small bucks, massive headache 24/7 <laugh>

The upcoming fixture list could be a blessing in disguise, Blackpool flying high, London derby against Charlton, and the hard-to-beat-this-season Leeds to come. Those three defeats might hasten his departure before it's too late.

When Leeds were last relegated, we didn't wield the axe quickly enough and never recovered.
