Nice enough performance, but we're not creating enough chances or putting the few we've had away. The communication's a little off, which is only to be expected with the new faces, but it's been virtually all positive so far. Dominated possession and territory, limited them to scraps and played some pretty football, too.
Great first half. We completely dominated the play. The only slight negative is that everything is down the right. I reckon if we can balance things out on the left, it'll give paulinho eriksen and dembele more space. All 3 are playing very well, but will dominate further if they can get that little bit more room. Good goal from Sig, v well taken and an excellent build up to it. However, other than the goal he's been pretty quiet. I wanna see Lamela now! An impact sub... Wow. What a luxury!
Defo. Just think, only 2 of our players have been in this team for more than 1 season! Incredible. It will take the length of this season imo for the whole squad to be fluent.

I think he feels under pressure to keep his place. He needs to make an impact and he's a bit desperate to do it.
Great start from Eriksen. Yet Holtby was great on his debut. Eriksen does look like he could be different class, early days but promising signs.

If he want's to keep his place he just needs to learn how to cross it properly and pass more accurately. Everything else is good. Everytime we get near the box though its one pass in one pass out, no service to Soldado at all, then a pop shot from Andros, Siggy or Paulinho (or sideways pass from Dembele) A good half over all, but as everyone knows, the fluency is not there, and Bobby needs better service. Hopefully they will open up a bit to chase the game, and either Eric or Holtby will be able to get something into Bobby.
So how are we going to keep hold of the Erikson chap when Real Madrid come sniffing with £120M plus?
