    Dedication.

I follow your example - even though the wise choice would be to copy SilverArrow's predictions (which have all been 100% correct)

    Forza Alonso!

    Wakkalfc,

I believe I already welcomed you on your Liverpool thread, but hello again :D

Did McLaren have the fastest car in the last two races. They were arguably faster in Spain, but I'm not so sure about Monaco.

Vettel pulled away from Button in the first stint and Hamilton wasn't in clear air so I don't know if that's true. In the later stages, Button was faster than Vettel - but's thats because he was on fresher tyres. It seemed to me that Vettel had the fastest car and was cruising for most of the race.

    I'm blushing forza ;)

This was probably the hardest to pick out of all the GP's. 2x DRS zones, behind the Mercedes engines if it happens would work in Seb's favour in the DRS zones.

With past results Lewis would be a safe option to choose from, maybe even an obvious one. I still believe this will be the tighest out of the whole season since Seb was up there until the F-Ducts started to pick them off and chuck them in dirty air. I'm going to be a tart and bring up Monaco again and say Lewis isn't 100% there yet in the head, after this he should be back to his old self because I really, really think this is going to be a good one. Confidence and a calm head could give you that extra few tenths a lap over somebody who is still a bit miffed. Tyres will be important as previous years here, and who is better than Vettel to keep them going... unless your name is Mr Button.

Lets not forget Vettel was stronger at China this year and should of won, unlike last year where they got spanked, so the car is better on the long straights then the RB6, probably with the help of the DRS when behind other cars, gives them that extra room to work with when trying to get into clean air.

Qualifying will be tight: Mercedes power vs Red Bull DRS and Aero, so, so, so tight I reckon.

Also regarding Vettel's miracle in the last race, he's made a believer out of me lol.

I really can't decide between Alonso, Button or Hamilton. I think I might pick a name out of a hat.

Sorry guys to go away from the chat, but

Does anyone know what compounds they will use in Montreal??? Is it the same as Monte Carlo or the ones used for the first 5 races of the season???

    Thanks.

I thought they might do that. Hopefully the track will be as bad as last year so we can have the same drama and excitement.

This is not a thread about how Lewis failed in 07 or 10 you know. And by the way its CANADA, not CANADIA.

Can't wait for this GP, with the two zones for the rear wing it will be phenomenal to watch! Yet again though am missing Kubica, always associate Montreal with his mega smash-up of a few years ago.

    Thanks for that.

I am expecting Ferrari to be a lot closer to McLaren and Red Bull. To imagine them being ahead is a too unrealistic. I like how Ferrari are confident about this update -- usually teams aren't so confident about making a step forward unless simulations show huge performance gains, or the team is McLaren. Maybe it's because they are bringing a flexible front wing.

    Here's a couple of facts:

    - Hamilton does well here
    - Massa doesn't
