I thought a Scouser might have got round to starting a Liverpool thread by now. Could it be that Liverpool has been in the shadow of Manchester for a while.............musically anyway? Anyway, I'll do it for them, as I've heard that they've produced the odd decent band over the years. My personal favourite from Liverpool. Echo & The Bunnymen with 'Bring On The Dancing Horses'. Seen them earlier this year and still as good as ever.
I hope to God Dan doesn't see this thread RH he will ****ing freak and good. I will add the Teardrop Explodes. They were regarded as a Liverpool band, but Cope's from Tamworth I think. That's what I'm saying to Dan anyway. This mob are from Liverpool though. Aye Moses, Dan doesn't seem to like them. Nought wrong with flashbacks, I'm having them all the time. Ps - it's gonna have to be you with the birthdays as I'm going on hospital leave for a while.
Just so long as it's not one of your bloody Spice Girls birthdays I'm sorry to hear that mate. I hope it all goes well for you.
It's got to be one of their birthdays soon, hopefully, I will be able to rejoice with the rest of the universe. Cheers on the surgery mate, its not until week after next, should be ok, but, if it doesn't go well, I won't be back.
That doesn't sound too good brother. Will be thinking of you. DO you remember this guy? I think he was pretty pally with Cope and Mac, although it's perhaps doubtful that Mac can be friends with anyone. He freaked out up here a couple of years back and was wanting to fight with the crowd. You'd never catch Cilla Black doing that.
Cheers My Friend, Yes, I remember him he was ok at the time. Did he flip properly and fight with the crowd. Have you ever seen 'From The Jam', it's Bruce Foxton, the drummer from Big Country, with a singer called Russell Hasting - he's a ringer for Weller. There on a 4 month tour, including Glenrothes, Motherwell and Glasgow. I saw them last year and they were brilliant. Play all the Jam classics. Well worth seeing if you get chance. Due in Newcastle early November but, dont think I'll be fit enough for it, so I'm well gutted.
Teardrop Explodes taken* so... *I would have gone with Treason
