Watford just lost their top striker to Swansea.
Millwall are losing their top striker to Norwich.
I'm sure more will follow,Snodgrass is being linked with a move from Leeds.
I find it strange nothing is being mentioned regards Maynard, personally think he will be off,but no interest seems strange, perhaps we are over hyping him here in Bristol?

I don't think we over hype him,he is dynamite, top goal scorer last season and only 11 games played and 6 goals this, the man is top drawer and the worrying thing is he has still not signed a new contract.

    Alarm bells are ringing..:headbang:

um having a year left on his contract or not does not mean qpr wont come after him! what planet are you from?? and you call me a nob <laugh> oh me sides <laugh>

so as he got a year on his contract, he wont sign a new one as your ****e compared to the clubs who will be interested, wont you rather get something for him or see him walk out the door for nothing?? think about it. i know thats hard for you to do but dont you think its common sense??

as for hoskins, i dont blame him. he is a championship player not a league 1 or 2 player. signing him was a great deal. no way were we going to keep him even if we stayed up. so we got money for him rather than keep him to his contract and get nothing for him at the end of his contract. make sense really. maybe not to you though <laugh>

    Simple, simple facts.

Maynard will be here next year unless we receive an offer that is acceptable to us and would allow us to replace him, its not my money so I aint bothered either way! (I haven't got time to explain what money is to you!)

Hoskins left (and was trying to get away at xmas) because you are utter ****e and he could see you were gonna land in the basement division of the football league and he was fed up of getting abused by your fans on twitter and facebook.

Yea it all makes sense but you've got to take your head out of your arse to see it. (or is your head up Chris's arse? I forget which way round you do it)

banksy, his value is not as much as he only got 1 year left on his contract. if he had 3 years left then yes you could hold out for big money. but he has 1 year left so you got get anywhere near the figure your thinking of.

    FFS

You aren't very bright are you, I dont give a **** how much he is worth, it AINT MY MONEY.

one of 3 things will happen, he wont sign and stay for another year (we lose money but get him for another year)

He will sign and stay (happy days) or sign and go for bigger money (happy days)

He will leave for good money and we use it to improve (happy days)

If this is the best you can come up with for a wind you better start hoping we are absolute rubbish next season otherwise your video is gonna be right ****.

In one sense it's probably a good thing he was injured for 2/3 of the season, he's no where to be seen on the top goal scorers chart.

However, I do think if any team comes along with a 4-5 Mil offer for him, we'll take it. We won't risk getting nothing back on the investment, we can't afford too.

I imagine that there will be a team willing to stump up that kind of cash for him and my guess will be QPR.

He would have signed a new contract if he was going to stick about, they're just waiting for a sensible offer.

TBH, I think our strikeforce without him is still pretty strong. Pitman, Stead and Clarky are not a bad consolation prize! (obviously Maynard would be sorely missed still)

Dont rate Clarkson at all personally.

Nicky Maynard would be a massive miss, the upturn in form happened when he came back from injury. I personally think hes going to stay for another season, after all he was injured most of last season and may feel like he owes the fans something. Nicky Maynard firing to the playoffs and then if he leaves hel be classed as legend!

NM missed most of last season as we know with an injury, he did get a few goals on his return but hardly set the division on fire ! bearing in mind our last few games against less formidable opposition a dozen goals would have been more like it....

Failing to understand is your forte.

I dont think you understand that you have been relegated to league 2 and have a manger you dont want and he is bringing in players that you dont think are good enough!

who said i didnt want him and who said i dont want the players we have signed?? not me sunshine. get your facts right. i said buckle is not my number 1 choice and i think we can get a better manager. that doesnt mean i dont want him. and regarding the new players, i have said buckle is building a strong league 2 team who should do very well. i added that i am slightly concerned that these players could do the job in league 1 though after our upcoming promotion.

i think your putting 2 and 2 together and getting 6 AS ALWAYS ;)

    Not me 'sunshine'

You're contradicting yourself in your own post.

    Rubbish supporter.

Dont want your manager or any of your players and runs away for two months after a relegation. 'princess'

    Haaaaaa!!!!!

WE aint in league 2 are we.

You have been mugged off by your board for a while again.

Were missing prem players not just about dragging in league 2 players (who are only good enough for league 2 according to you)

You have got a manager that you think could have been better.

    And I cant win!!!

Nick said: "The stadium will be funded predominately by the sale of the Memorial Stadium for a mixed use development, which includes retail and housing, the remainder is being funded by the football club."

You ain't got the money and BRFC are bust,so you are going to part fund this by going into debt,he says it in this statement and the bits I've repeated, unless Geoff Dunfraud pays for it.....

    * mixed use development.
    * retail and housing.
    * the remainder is being funded by the football club."

So how are you going to be debt free,4th tier division,4th tier players and (sorry) 4th tier manager...

You are a busted flush,it's a big CON.....
