Not against drink, as I'm quite partial; it helps me ignore those boring tea-totallers (not all) who seem to think they have some point to make. I do think that a pint should be allowed in sitting areas and drink-free standing areas should be introduced; it seems mad that they expect folk to queue, buy, squaff and dump a pint in 15mins. The whole concept needs a re-think.
There does so far appear to be no Barmby... There doesn't appear to be Stuart Elliott either - there's gonna be hell to pay if Stu isn't up there... Also, they've changed the toilet signs to 'tiger' and 'tigress'. That's just cheesy as ****.
I quite like these - a nice touch, showcasing a bit of history in a modern style. So, are these only up for one game, or a full season? ...If they're here to stay, how long before RL Forums goes into meltdown?
They'll have to whip them down quick or those cnuts will have them in revenge for the Jonny Whittle incident!
So I'll ask the glaring question.......has anyone else noticed the lack of any team name wording anywhere and just the use of a tiger's head? Also if we are significantly changing the badge at the end of the season it would be strange to use the current tiger head emblem. So I would hazard a guess that only the 'outside' of the badge ie the part other than the tiger's head would be changing. Cos these banners wont be cheap so having them for 9 months would be an odd move.
Hull FC Vs Catalan Dragons - tonight at the KC Stadium. I thought there was a Premier League rule that meant a pitch couldn't be played on less than 24 hours before a Premier League game?
The drink rule is ridiculous. You can drink as much as you like as long as you do it in the concourse, yet fans of any other sport can drink what they like where they like. The banners are a good idea but you have to wonder what FC will think. I'm sure Pearson will like it but their fans will go mental.
There a decent addition(I assume they're mainly hanging so they can be removed for FC games), but having Turner, but not Barmby or Elliot is piss poor. I don't think many would argue with those who have been included, but those two should definitely also be up there.
Elliot missing is odd, but they got everyone else that mattered. It's a nice touch and makes it look a lot better. I dont think we should worry about the FC fans, none of them will be able to jump high enough to pull any down,
