Ever get as far south as Darlington fella? I'd come see you if a darlo gig was at the same time as me having a few quid.
Occasionally Bri. I'll keep you updated mate You're right talc. Although it's always been a canny night in there. Just found out I'm back at the cliff on 2nd November too
Thanks they are at the beamish mary on sat, and a charity do on the 28th at wearside golf club, they are aptly called 'grey area' the old gits
Thanks Marcus. I hadn`t thought of `advertising` on here. We do mainly charity things now. We`ve had plenty out so we figured it`s right to put some back. We recently played at Rutland St Buffs and raised £1200 for MacMillan cancer which was very pleasing. The Wearside Golf club is for kids from poor areas to have a try at something they would normally never afford. If it gets them off the street corners and keeps them out of trouble it has to be good. Come along if you can. You will see a battered old Gibson SG Standard (1967) and a battered old Grandpops (1948) and the 1981 LP Custom I mentioned to you before. All welcome. Any luck with the guitar details I gave you?
Tbf we've just got a sitter for the 28th, havnt seen the old man live for yonks, not got a clue what they play, guessing the eagles, clapton/cream, fleetwood mac, queen, blues? Grandpops??
Yes these ^. Plus Stones, Thin Lizzy, Lindisfarne, Joe Cocker, Rod Stewart, Free, Joe Walsh, Quo. A real mix. Something for everybody.
