With the Liverpool game coming up next, I'll put my head on the block and say that it's time Liverpool dragged themselves into the 21st century and ditched "You'll Never Walk Alone" for something newer and more relevant to modern times. 40 years is long enough to sing the same bloody song before each game. I find it quite cringeworthy along with the Z-Cars theme tune at Everton and "I'm forever blowing bubbles" at West Ham. Urggh! And no, I'm not going to post this on the Liverpool board
for Dai and goodbye farewell and amen to the classic Liverpool Anthem (according to aswan_dam)
I wish I had gone to both the man utd and Liverpool matches when they were here now, would have preferred to been at the Liverpool match, shyte happens though
I find YNWA tedious in the extreme. No offence to Liverpool fans. Unfortunately I don't see it ever being replaced and the rest of us ae going to have to endure it forever. On a side note, didn't the Hammers nick the Bubbles song from us many moons ago?
I actually like it too - one of my favourite all time songs is Gerry singing 'Don't let the sun catch you crying' - especially the bit when he sings ' When the berrds (birds) sing" accent is unmistakable
I am a bit old fashion. Would sound fantastic in a stadium with 50.000-60.000 people lol
