You just reminded me of my favourite moment on Soccer Saturday:
On the subject of MP, I'd be surprised if he's still here in a few years' time. It's the nature of the game and people will be annoyed at first (probably not as annoyed/shocked as when Adkins went) but we'll get over it by getting a new manager.
Well, we're ****ed then. -----------Boruc------------ Clyne--Fonte---Lovren--Shaw --Wanyama----Schneiderlin-- Lallana---Gaston---Rodriguez ---------Osvaldo----------- I'd like to rest Rickie for this one, and given that I'd like to see us try something a bit different. West Ham is tactically-disciplined (which is to say "no more than two of them will leave their half at the same time"), so angling crosses into the box isn't likely to get it done.
Clyne Shaw and 9 others. We are gonna need those two to stretch West Ham (and every other team) around especially at home. Our two most important players (imo of course). Anyone got any word on Clyne's fitness btw. I am assuming Shaw is ok after playing for England.
Would like to see clyne and shaw back , gaston and lallana starting. Would put JWP on bench; great potential but is currently more workmanlike than creative and at home we need to open teams up.
Ah, 3-1. I love Saints 3-1 scorelines. Never knew how much I loved them until we got so many of them in the right order. I didn't even mind the opposition scoring their one, which I used to hate. The one was kind of like a little gift to them to make them feel better after being beaten soundly.
I hope we see Clyne start. Chambers has been solid and all, but only solid. I can't help but feel Clyne offers a lot more - especially in providing width, which we're definitely lacking.
