I'm calling Massa to Force India to replace one of the drivers, the other will be replaced with Vandoorne.

Move him to somewhere like Lotus, where he can actually compete, and he might just find a new lease of life.

If he cant get inspired driving for Ferrari then what hope does he have at Lotus. he cant have been that depressed at being #2 or he would of walked himself. He knows Ferrari have been nursing him these last few years.

    So it begins

Ex-Ferrari chief says Kimi Raikkonen not the right man for F1 team

"I'm not a fan of the new hiring," Fiorio said in an interview with Gazzetta dello Sport.

"I admire his talent, but I don't agree with his lifestyle and his technical approach. I wouldn't have gone for him.

"In my opinion it's a conservative choice. I would have gone for an emerging driver rather than one at the tail end of his career.

"He doesn't live like an athlete and to be champion in F1 talent is not enough.

"You need physical, technical and psychological effort and, from what I know and have seen, he's the type of guy who takes his bag and leaves shortly after the sessions.

"I don't know how much technical contribution he can bring."

I'd like to see Hulkenberg and Grosjean at Lotus, Massa's had his time and badly underperformed in the last few years, Hulkenberg has done more recently to be deserving of the Lotus seat.

I'd like to see Massa at Lotus but I think Hulk's more deserving and I don't see any reason to drop Grosjean.

New challenge, new place, new people... Might just be enough to bring him back to life.

I can't wait for this, with Vettel just taking the WDC each year its got really bad but this is the perfect tonic.

It would be hilarious if lotus chose Maldonado as Grosjeans teammate

Lotus have operated on a policy of one paid driver and one pay driver since 2010 (Petrov/Kubica, Grosjean/Raikkonen) so if Maldonado comes in it will probably be in place of Grosjean rather than as well as him.

He does have lead driver experience at Williams, and he is talented (Spain last year) so I would be surprised if he's not in the mix.

In all seriousness at the end of 2012 when Maldonado cut the crashes out he was actually very good, singapore and abu dhabi spring to mind

I would quite like it if Lotus replaced Grosjean with Maldonado and made Hulkenburg his teammate

    ps: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z1gzSKZe0Vs

edit: and then I'd like Bianchi to take Maldonado's place at williams!

I forgot that would also leave an empty Sauber seat which would make even more sense.

I'd love those changes for next year, lose Webber, Massa and Grosjean

Maldo and Hulk to Lotus, Bianchi to Sauber.

With some journalists/pundits/ex-drivers suggesting/believing Alonso will go crazy and destabilise the team, it's nice to hear from those who actually talk some sense:

Ferrari president Luca di Montezemolo has predicted Fernando Alonso "will be the main beneficiary" from Kimi Raikkonen's return to Ferrari.

In a wide-ranging interview with Gazzetta dello Sport detailing the Finn's reappointment at the Scuderia for 2014, di Montezemolo revealed that Team Principal Stefano Domenicali had been the driving force behind the surprise decision to lure Raikkonen back to Maranello.

Di Montezemolo also disclosed that he had held talks with the Finn "ten days" before the Italian GP earlier this month and warned that Raikkonen could defeat Alonso next season as he drew parallels with Niki Lauda's narrow title triumph over McLaren team-mate Alain Prost in 1984.

"Raikkonen's case is almost identical to that of Lauda. Niki also at a certain stage said 'enough is enough' because he was sick of it. I'm speaking of Kimi's twin brother, because the driver who we was racing for us wasn't the one we hired," said Di Montezemolo.
