A very good morning to you all,

Ryall Hall is a loan target for a number of Championship and League 1 clubs according to Sky Sports. Are we missing something, or has he not been given an opportunity to show what he can do?

Seems very unlikely that McDermott will be succeeding Giovanni Trapattoni as the Republic of Ireland Manager as his odds have now been slashed (at some bookies) at 150/1. They're not normally wrong, are they?

Leeds travel to the reebok stadium this weekend (looking forward to the match thread!!!). Who would have a bet that Beckford won't get his first goal of the season??? We should see Diouff back in the squad, if not in the starting XI. I wonder whether it will be too soon to see Byram back?

I believe that the back four we currently have, is the best we have had since we left the Premiership!!! (Circa 10 years)

    Do you agree, or disagree?

Morning all, and great to be back talking about a match again.

Ryan Hall must be touted around by the club and his agent, because its now obvious he has no chance to make it at ER and yet another Warnock waste of money. It would have been great having a winger who could provide amunition for our strikers, but hall isn't it, so we have to go elsewhere if we can. BMD also stated yesterday that White was in his plans? is he being PC or does he mean it and if he does where will he fit, because we have enough headless chickens on the books.

Bolton away and saying hello to old friends. JB seems to have lost his eye but always worry that he'll turn it on against us. Dougie was another great player for us and now in danger of losing his job, why did he take the Bolton job when he had palace in prime position for promotion? he let Holloway get them up and since going to Bolton has spent a fortune on some top players, who still have to reward thier manager. Bolton on paper are a promotion chasing side, and should beat us on Saturday. Games are not played on paper and I fancy us to take all 3 points and help to get Dougie the sack.

As for the Ireland job I have a sneeky that Mick McCarthy will be going back. Remember the run in he had with Roy keane and how he dealt with it, brilliant. Then he must have pissed himself when he had to go into Ipswich and clean up the mess that Keane started. Always liked big Mick, and chuffed to bits that Wolves sank without trace after sacking him.

Morning all. There is a reason Hall is not featuring, my guess is its got to do with off the field stuff ... doubt he has the mentality required to make it at this level.

White is our player at the minute, he's told the manager Leeds is his club and he doesn't want to go ... fair enough for McD to state he will get a chance if he works hard and steps up. Fringe players are very important, not just when they need to step into the starting eleven seamlessly ... their attitude in training, on matchdays, away trips ... keeping a positive approach and supporting the starting eleven is crucial. McD must see this in White to allow him to stay, probably not seeing this from Hall.

If McD took the Ireland job he would in effect be coaching a Championship quality team. No disrespect intended, just fact. Tough one for Ireland, Trapattoni organised them well and made them hard to beat, it was the lack of quality in the final third that hurt them. Who will do better? The new manager can't go and sign players to fix the problem areas. He could, of course, start Green regularly!! O'Neill probably won't return to football, McCarthy may not want to return to International football. McD is a good candidate, but with 30 months left on his contract will cost a lot of money which FAI can't really afford.

Back four? Difficult to say just yet, but we will know more by Christmas. Wootton looks like he will become a very good Prem defender, Pearce finally starting to play like we knew he could. Lees will improve and contribute. Add Byram and its looking better, we need to see more clean sheets ... especially at home.

Now, the Beckford question. One thing we know is that when the lad is up for it and focused he will score goals. He is a finisher, end of. We also seem to get mugged by ex players ... FFS even Billy Bunter scored against us!!! Bolton will turn the corner at some point, it will depend on how the International break has worked for them. I can see us getting a point, a win will be a big bonus.

Morning all. I would like to see Hall go out on loan to show once and for all if he has any chance of cutting it at Leeds. Beginning to think he won't, but I really hope I'm wrong.

Doubt BMD was ever really in the frame for the Ireland job. Think McCarthy is a much more likely option.

On JB, will be nice to see him again. Will also be interesting to see his reaction if he scores. I also hope we give him a good reception. He seems to have lost his way somewhat. Let's hope he doesn't find it this weekend.

Morning all. I'm going to make my last comment on Hall. Useless, three managers cant be wrong. Must be crap when even Boggers is losing faith. Had nearly a year to prove himself at Leeds. He doesnt even mention football in his tweets for gods sake. Itll probably cost a couple of hundred grand in agents fees to shift him. Last night McD was 6 to 1 second favourite. Think O'Neill is a cert for the job or at least I hope he is.

Wont be long now till SKY install England as favourites ahead of Brazil to win the world cup as usual followed by the usual dismay mid way through the tournament when all goes pear shaped. rapidly followed by managerial sacking and huge payout to Woy

Par for the course. I stopped believing in my teens. As I said, I liken it to community service. England games dont excite me & I always say never again but find myself never missing a game. As public enemy said, 'dont believe the hype' <ok>

I think that its nailed on MON for the irish job the others are just smoke screens. In my humble opinion Martin ticks all the boxes articulate used to TV interviews enthusiastic and plans well usually so lets forget Brian going anywhere unless he uses it to extricate more resources for team building and good morning to all.
I agree Hall should be farmed out I suggested we swapped him for Rowe a couple of weeks ago along with White and Brown sounds like a loaf!

    Morning all from sunny Skopje.

The job is surely MON's is he wants it. He has an excellent track record, no compensation required to release him, and don't think money will be a problem for him. Really can't see any other candidate being considered unless MON turns it down. Lennon might be a candidate if this happens, but would he leave Celtic? Doubt it at this stage in his career. Big Mick - no chance. He managed Eire when they were good. Why take on NI when there's every chance they couldn't beat the Ipswich side he's building.

Hall? ast caring now (sadly). In Brian I trust on this matter.

Back 4? Interesting one. I'm sure I remember reading a few days ago that BM & White had agreed that his future lay at left back. We don't really need a third left back, so I'm wondering if BM is toying with a 3-5-2 for the future, with White & Byram giving us pace & width. BM is already on record as saying that he's probaly use Byram out wide. This would allow all our 3 CBs to play, with Peltier as cover. I'm not suggesting we'll adopt this formation all of the time, but it becomes a tactical possibility now with 4 reasonably good CBs to choose from, and youthful pace & energy on the flanks. Who knows?

3-5-2 is an interesting idea, it'd definitely give us more width, which in turn would open up more space in the middle for Murphy and McCormack to work in. Doesn't seem to be a widely-used formation in this country though...

Bucks thank you so much for your concern I am very well I even managed to walk round Wyke golf course with my son on Monday I hadn't played for 35 years or so and even beat him on one hole and no bad reactions.
As You know I Am a great believer in writing letters so when EDF wrote to me to say they would increase my DD to them from 100 to 359 a month apart from choking I phoned them back to be told you will pay this or else so I wrote to the company proving that I should increase my amount by no more than £33 well I got a phone call today saying they were very sorry for the upset they had caused and they agree with my calculations and had cancelled the DD for £359 to £133 .Just shows the power of the pen good news indeed but can you imagine what this had have down for pensioners of less sterner stuff my advice is calculate you usage then write back

Well done mate! Never take things on the chin, give as good as you get <ok> I had to write 5 letters to reclaim the mrs PPI money as the constantly fobbed her off. I even threatened going to the press and claiming that there review was biased and favoured company employees and showed them the evidence. A week later payment in full plus £200 additional compensation or as I like to call it hush money! It certainly helped us enjoy our family holiday.

More importantly I'm glad your feeling better and you kick your sons arse plenty more times when we get the weather for it again! <cheers>

Kissa (aide) is a very good golfer <ok>

'its a job for the future'

You got to admire how much he believes in himself and remains modest. I really believe he is the best manager we have had since Wilko, he will be judged on results but lets hope resource is factored in as well.

Bucks I think he's starting to shape up as our 3rd best manager in recent years, as I have to go for DOL 1 as our best since Revie, DOL2 was a twat and did himself and our team and club harm and if he had been like he was in the early days we wouldn't have imploded and gone bust.

Contentious I know, but I believe DOL in the early part was brilliant and a breath of fresh air. At the end he belived he was a younger version of Fergie and was a messiah. He lost the dressing room and his book killed what was left of the club. If he had have remained as DOL1 we would have qualified for europe and none of the **** that followed would have happeded. It would have been a huge wake up call for Ridsdale and things would have changed.

Never thought I'd blame DOL for giving us Bates :emoticon-0106-cryin
