Just found this on youtube. I think I was at all of those, even the one in '98 when it could have been our last ever game (not that I remember any of it whatsoever).
2-2, a red card each, a last minute penalty (that Campbell will miss), an inept referee and first viewing on MOTD
This looks all over a draw to me, but if anyone can pinch a goal, it should be Cardiff. I wouldn't bank on FC scoring it though, he could be hung out to dry up front if we play a deep midfield 5. Looks more like a game for someone like Gunnar or Kimbo to pop up in the box to get it. Watch out for the set pieces though - I reckon these could be our match winners this season.
With James Chester, Curtis Davies and Maynor Figueroa playing like they are, I'm not worried on set pieces.
1-1 Cardiff got a draw last time when it didn't matter to them, yes we "should" have won but we didn't. Aluko needs to find a goal to set him off & we need Gedo ASAP
Last season this would have, on paper at least be deemed one of the toughest matches for both clubs. Now it's the type of match that both teams expect to win, (especially us being the home team anyway) if either club wants to stay up. I'll go for 2-0 - Graham and Koren.
That's fair enough, but Man City had a decent defence two weeks ago as well - didn't do them a lot of good at our place. Whittingham's and Bellamy's deliveries from the left and right respectively will cause problems amongst the best defenders. Not saying your guys aren't good, but Steve Caulker and Ben Turner each at 6'4" going up there for them can be a very big distraction even if they don't get on the end of it. There's always someone around to pick up the scraps.
Would normally be extremely worried about FC but Curtis Davies has been incredible in these first three games and with the pace that he has I am confident in his ability to stay with Campbell.
2-1 us and I see their goal as coming against the run of play. With how we have played so far this season I do not think that Cardiff is much of a match for us.
Must have been their twins playing when we conceded from set pieces in two out of three games this season
I found the ease with which on the beach Cardiff got a 2-2 here last game of season when we should have given our most committed performance of the season very unsettling. I hope we have bridged the quality gap as a team even if Cardiff have pulled further ahead in individual quality since then. I'll willingly take a draw - there, I said it. I fancy us more at Newcastle like. Aiming for out 3rd win in a row there. FACT.
Agree with much of that - I see Cardiff having a very good home record and a passable away record this season and I think they'll finish circa 14th. Naturally, these are the games we need to be targetting but a draw would not be a disaster by any stretch. Also agree with the Newcastle sentiment and I fancy us to get something there too

I think it will be a comfortable 4-0. It's going to be a breeze, Cardiff can hardly be said to have strengthened, they're still a championship side.
This is going to be a tough game as both teams will fancy getting something out the game I think we will nick it 1 - 0
