Ha! Not often you see mitosis in a TV jingle. 80s sound like a crazy decade, shame I missed them.

David James replied to one of my Tweets! I feel so special! Now I know what it feels like when a teenage girl receives a reply from Harry Styles!

Cor blimey, dev - that's a bit random, and no mistaking <laugh>

A nice piece of fillet steak perhaps, cooked medium, with mushrooms, fries, onion rings, tomato, and a dollop of English mustard. Washed down by a nice Australian Shiraz - the whole bottle of course <ok>

Am I allowed a starter, and pudding as well.........<confused>

Sad to say I remember most of these, except the very first one.

The first, longer, musical instrumental sounds a bit like the start of a Cowboy film.

Audie Murphy surveying the territory, before he locks horns with DeForrest Kelly.

Just watching Blackout and the powercut has just happened, and they're showing clips of different places affected one place they showed was a bunch of football fans at Fratton Park, standing in darkness chanting "What a ****ing ****hole" (well, they showed it twice, the first time they were chanting "What the **** is going on". Looool. I dunno whether to be honoured or offended that they included the home of football in this programme.

"Why did we let those ****ers sing 'Play up Pompey' and get away with it? We should have started riots, pillages, remind them about how they penetrate aquatic species in a reproductive manner".

Above is a comment on Saints 606 site by Come Back Papa on their match thread for today's game against the Hammers. Sounds like some of Saint's fans were a wee bit annoyed by the chant <laugh>

Perhaps they should have responded with our excellent chant at Fratton Park a few years back against West Ham, where they were recommended to :emoticon-0159-music Stick your f***ing bubbles up your ar*e :emoticon-0159-music...........<whistle>

Pirelli Pirates Youth FC charged over spectator sexism claims

A youth football club has been charged with a string of offences after a spectator allegedly told a referee to "get her handbag and go home".

Shelby Davis, 21, was overseeing an under-15s game between Wyvern Youth and Pirelli Pirates in Southampton when she says the comment was made.

She called off the game at half-time with Wyvern Youth 2-0 in the lead.

The Hampshire FA has charged Pirelli Pirates Youth FC with causing the match to be abandoned, among other offences.

The club, which has until 3 October to respond, is also charged with misconduct by club spectators and spectators making comments deemed to be of a discriminatory nature.

Ms Davis abandoned the 15 September cup match between the two teams following a comment that was made from the stands during half-time and reported the matter to the Hampshire FA.

A Hampshire FA spokesman said it was "not appropriate" to comment further while disciplinary procedures were ongoing.

Ms Davis was unavailable for comment.

Went to the NFL game at Wembley: Pittsburg Steelers at Minnesota Vikings, and I have to say, what fun that was! Fantastic atmosphere, it was so loud out points and it was good how Steelers and Vikings fans were mingling together, thousands of flags being waved made for an impressive spectacle. There was an American couple who were Vikings fans next to us who were really into it, it was amusing, as there were some American Steelers fans nearby. At one stage, there was a bit of banter flying between them, but all good humoured and good natured. The build up was pretty epic! I'm not really a fan of Tinnie Tempah but him performing with a troop of cheerleaders dancing in perfect unison with flame cannons firing in time with the music was really a great combination and just seemed to fit. Americans really can put on a show.

The match was good and the Vikings won which I was happy about. Before I just picked them because I liked their kit, but I loved everything about them: their kit (obviously), their amusing ditty every time they scored, the flag bearers, the Skulline drummers, the mascot, the videos using words like "Conquer" and "Destroy", the horn blaring. It was epic. Sorry meowth, I think I shall give me support to the Vikings!
