Now we haven't been successful in our (long shot?) attempt to get Fabregas, we should give Kagawa a chance to prove himself as United's playmaker. I just hope that Moyes will forget about his Everton days of hard graft in the midfield and give creativity a chance. <ok>

We don't want Kagawa to leave, do we?

Did Kagawa really deserve to be a champion?? No mate he was barely used, similar to Owen winning a medal <ok>

Style's point is valid, seemingly the vast majority of our players are ****e and yet they've won the league on several occasions.

Kagawa is so ****e he's won the league in Germany and England. Double ****e.

The comparison with Owen is bollocks. Owen played 11 games, starting 1 of them. Kagawa played 20 games, starting 17 of them.

Fellaini might give Kagawa that licence to roam but until now, Kagawa hasn't really impressed, but he sure deserves a proper run of games. Being a small guy myself, I empathise with him as he tends to be pushed and shoved around in almost all matches. Especially since teams like Bayern and Dortmund have dethroned Barca and brought back this trend of ultra-physical "game of sprints", players like Kagawa are likely to be less and less effective imo. Good luck to him, he's a natural.

In all seriousness though, Kagawa last season wasnt all that good, but that could be put down to adjusting to a new league and a new team.
So I dont think he can be regarded as a bad signing just yet, he needs to kick on this year and start performing though.
Watched him a couple of times with Dortmund and he is a tidy player, but you never know, some players just dont adapt (Veron, Kezman, etc)

You really should know by now that all United players are average and all Liverpool players are world class.

    That's just how it is.

I suppose there was always going to be a period where Moyes has to find his best team, he obviously thinks Nani needs another chance and Kagawa may also get an opportunity. Moyes may lose a few games and you may not challenge for the league this season but as fans you may have to accept that and hope that long term Moyes gets it right.

It is also a question of football style (philosophy sounds rather pompous ?) that Moyes is comfortable with. I think he is still finding out what the United way is. And how and what players he would need to get it delivered.

Kagawa I suspect is one of those players who need to know that their manager loves them and value them. Just give him a few starts and see him develop. He was player of the year in the bundesliga so he can't be ****e as some thick envious scouser has said earlier <ok>

From what I've seen he's a good player and would give your midfield the energy it seems to be missing at the moment.

I think he needs to play in midfield, now we've got the protection in there with Fellaini.
All this behind the striker is nonsense for me, that's where Rooney has to play. Off the striker at least, not necessarily behind.

It might narrow us slightly but Kagawa with Fellaini and Carrick behind a front three of RVP, Rooney and Nani is bursting with attack and goals.

We've then got Valencia, Young, Zaha, Hernandez, Wellbeck, Cleverly, Giggs to come in as and when.

But yeah, we've got a really ****ing average squad.
