Yeah & won the league. 3x 1-0 wins which were hardly convincing & you lot are talking about winning 10 on the spin, it's hilarious tbh.
As we've said, looking at the fixtures individually and we believe we can win each game as they come.
Football doesn't work like that & that's why we love it. There's no way on God's earth you'll win 10 on the bounce & if anyone fancies a wager to that effect then we're on.
I'm not saying that we will definitely win 10 on the bounce. I'm just saying that our next fixtures are against teams that we really should be beating.
If's/But's and Maybes... we "should" have beaten WBA at home last year, battered them for 80mins and ended up losing 2-0, lets not take things for granted, one game at a time, give each team the respect they deserve and just go out there and do your best, if our best is good enough, we'll win, if not, then its the phucking referees fault and/or Tobes sticking pins in his Steven Gerrard voodoo doll!
You lot always get ahead of yourselves that's what makes it funny. A couple of good results & it's "we've turned the corner", a decent signing & the jigsaw is nearly complete, a youngster comes through & he's "gonna be da best in der wuurld lad", there's always a superlative, there's always an over egging of the custard.....& in recent years there's always been the thud of reality as you crash back down to Earth......
cmon nobody is saying anything like that tobes, as I said 4wins and 3 draws I would happily take from those 7 games. on paper we should win imo 6 of those 7 but more than likely we won't do that well. oh ****it...... this is our year!!!!
Yeah, but this year Jupiter's alignment with Uranus coupled with low tide on some beach in the south pacific at 11:23am means its our year.. Don't be a kill joy Tobes, its a fans right/prerogative to dream a little dream, even more so if the start to the season is better than expected.. Not saying we'll be delivered to the promised land this year, but we'll keep walking that road until we fall into a pot hole or two!

Gerrard will be back to his best with pitch length runs and 20 yard screamers and just as it all looks like it's going wrong Carra will come out of retirement to steady the ship and score the winner in a fixture rejuggle which means we have to beat Man Utd at Anfield to win the league. It's written in the stars my friend, it's our destiny. Well either that or we'll lose 1-0 to Swansea.
Ok mate, fair enough, who am I to deny you those fuzzy thoughts of an impending return to the 'glory days', the Irish Shanks or knocking United off their perch. Here's a tip though lid, wear plenty of padded clothing, as I reckon Earth will re-appear quicker than expected & I think the landing might hurt.....

Is 1995 really the last time Everton won a trophy? I know they have been in finals but is that right? I know we have even longer with the prem but did supplement a few FA, CL, EL, CC along the way.
