including our 3 wins so far is anyone else thinking it's very possible we could go ten lge games with no loss? Swansea Away Southampton home sunderland away palace home Newcastle away west brom home arsenal away I would take 4wins 3draws from those games happily, it's a reasonably achievable target imo to win all 7. if we can manage to get to 10games undefeated I think it would be a massive psychological boost..... so 10 games no losses, is it likely ? and what affect do you think it could have going forward?
10 games no losses would be brilliant but we have to stick to that cliche of one game at a time mate, we cannot and shouldnt look this far forward Start at Swansea where we will do well to come away with a win as the Swans look to win their first game in front of their own fans (in the league)
Aye, not jumping the gun, certainly not looking that far ahead, agree with the good Dr, one game at a time..
of course 1 game at a time chaps , 7draws would be useless lol but just looking on paper the next 7 games are all winnable and obviously loseable too but just thinking that if achieved what positive or even negative affect it may have on the team, positive in terms of winning mentality and negative in terms of other teams eager to beat us. not saying we are gonna win the league just think those Games are all winnable.
That would put you at 10 games played with maximum points, when has that ever happened? Even to sides who've won the thing? #kopitebehaviour
Yes the overall maximum seems unlikey but if you take away the 3 that we've won and look at the fixtures then Swans away is difficult and the last fixture at the Emirates. The others you have to look at and say they are games we should win. However the 2 most likely outcome are.... We lose to Swansea and all the talk is over or We beat Swansea and get even more carried away and then lose to Southampton at home.
Arsenal ended the 2001/02 season with 13 game winning streak. And other teams in other leagues have had bigger winning streaks but it's very unusual. Considering all the other unusual stuff we've had to put up with, maybe this could be what's unusual for us this year.
Looking at the actual fixtures individually, I think we have a good chance of winning and we should be beating these teams. So no, I wouldn't call it unreasonable.
