I'd rather we kept Buckley, because I think, when he's on form, Buckley's a top quality winger. During his purple patch he was near unplayable at this level.
However, he wasn't a permanent fixture in the side like Graham, nor was he consistent. Besides, I'm hopeful that a combination of Whichelow, Murray and Bryan can break through and help to soften the blow.
If he is to go, we'd better do a better job of negotiating his exit than we did with Graham, particularly given that we're going to have to give a lot of the fee to Rochdale.
P.S. Your tagline 'Don Cowie is wonderful!' has got me thinking: if he were to go (especially for a fee of a packet of pork scratchings...) I really would class that as a disaster.
