Four2Three1Ã It was a more a go at how United19Red, out of nowhere, feels he needs to have a go at Liverpool when that was COMPLETELY off topic... Sure you hold the league cup record, but we held it for years and years, I doubt you will do the same. United19Red Laugh at us all you want but the fact is the worst is behind us and you've got it all to come, who are you being linked with?? The likes of Nasri and Young, really exciting prospects there... A far cry from your front three of Ronaldo, Tevez, and Rooney.
I know, yet we're a team attempting to get into the top 4. You're a team supposedly pushing on for number 20, and you certainly won't get there with the players we're both being linked to.
Hmm just checked out Hitwise who calculate most visited football club websites and it's not pretty reading for Man U fans... 1. Liverpool 2. Man U 3. Arsenal 4. Leeds As of 2010 which is the latest set of figures available.
Confirmed by alexa.com aswell. LFC.tv - 306 UK ManUtd.com - 366 There you go scousers. A record you can have. More people use your website. Wooooop.
Pretty extraordinary when you consider they haven't discovered computers on Merseyside yet, let alone the internet. Sorry, that was mean of me.
They say we humans only use 10% of our brains. Scousers go a step further and only use 10% of that 10%. Thats 1% BTW scousers. The deluded section. Seriously though Loiner. You as a leeds fan have as much dislike of United as anyone but even you can see what a bunch of morons these scousers are. It doesnt matter how much evidence you show them they remain enclosed in their little 1980's bubble. they are the laughing stock of english football and this includes Man city.
I don't think they're morons but like you say even the most bitter person accepts Man U have the most fans if they have an ounce of reason in them. They do have a point about 18-5 vs 19-3 though.
For now they do. While they will remain 18-5 we will increase both our tallies. Then what will they do. Claim their shirts are a better shade of red? Claim L is before M in the alphabet? Claim disability living allowance? You betcha
That's interesting, as there was also some survey done by one of the P2P football hosting sites to show that Liverpool supporters were the main users of their site. Tho' maybe that was just due to them being too pikey to get Sky? http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/fo...ol-best-supported-team-in-Premier-League.html Also, those rankings may not take into account the other TLDs that the manutd.com site has (espanol.manutd.com; arabic.manutd.com; and manutd.cn, .jp and .kr). Whereas LFC just has one website for everyone. They do have a point. But it's pretty much their only one, and they make it sooooooo often. Broken records most of 'em. The whole 18-5 thing has even appeared on their website, just a few short days after we updated ours to show 19 titles. It all smacks of too much bitter to me.
Imo 5 European Cups isn't even a record... Real Madrid hold the record. It's a great achivement all the same, and it's better than we've managed - but it isn't a record. In the same way Arsenal's "most London league titles" isn't a record.
Dippers Alexa rank of 3235 http://www.alexa.com/siteinfo/http://www.liverpoolfc.tv/welcome-to-liverpool-fc UTD Alexa rank of 1987 http://www.alexa.com/siteinfo/http://www.manutd.com/Splash-Page.aspx This is more upto date, so who do you think wins?
I'm pretty sure the "18 league titles 5 European cups" has been there long before United won the league this season.
Here we go yet again, the same bullish optomism from Liverpool fans right before they fall flat on their face. They seem to think that "King" Kenny is somehow going to lead their ****ing **** team to glory
Fair enough if so. I'd only been on their site once or twice before and hadn't noticed it. Found some quality stats from a few years back: http://www.roymorgan.com/news/press-releases/2006/490/ 1. Manchester United: 4,209,000 2. Liverpool: 3,133,000 3. Arsenal: 2,652,000 4. Chelsea: 1,485,000 5. Rangers: 1,430,000 6. Celtic: 1,406,000 7. Tottenham: 1,240,000 8. Newcastle: 1,159,000 9. Leeds United: 938,000 10. Manchester City: 886,000 Pretty much what Loiner said above, but with some additional profiling: Manchester United supporters are: 63% more likely to see their main goal in life is to have “An important life”. 27% more likely to live in a household with three or more children. 24% more likely to agree “I believe a percentage of everyone’s incomes should go to charities”. Chelsea supporters are: More than twice as likely (164% more likely) to have been to a beauty salon or spa in the last three months. More than twice as likely (139% more likely) to be underweight. 84% more likely to agree “I wear clothes that will get me noticed”. Liverpool supporters are: Almost three times as likely (175% more likely) to live in a household of five or more adults. 42% more likely to be a single parent. 31% more likely to have purchased self and pre-tanning lotions in the last 4 weeks. Take from that what you will...
Not my point at all... My point was that you claimed our prospects we're not "exciting", but a good number are also yours... So you aren't looking forward to Liverpool's spending then? And... I'm sure Hernandez and Smalling weren't the most "exciting" signings ever.. But hey we won the league and got to the CL final.. Our signings will be joining a team who are already capable of doing the business and will be further enhancing it
We were not supposed to get to 19 with what we have, but guess what, we have that 19th and reached CL final. Not bad for an average team, dont you think.
