Come off it. Our best chance is to get a penalty ... and who better to go down in the box when touched by a butterfly?
Especially this half. Really miss Rooney imo. Absent players has left us with some very ordinary players out there unfortunately. Probably 4 or 5 who wouldn't have started. FFS!! Again, Young delivers terribly from a corner this time. Gerrard's delivery is superb.............why the **** has Young taken over?
That is actually excellent news Sooper! This means Redknapp knows of him. If we go up it might happen, about 0,1% possibility
Wish the commentators would just admit it has been poor, dull and such a low standard. The positivity is annoying.
Yep.........our lack of depth has been exposed. Really don't have much after the first 11 or 12. Ashley bloody Young is so awful!! That's it. Deserved point. Job done. Let's just hope we have our first choice team, or at least something near it for the final two games in the group.
Well having watched Norway - Switzerland, this looks WC finals standard. There is some speed and atmosphere in the game, totally lacking in the other game, and chances at both ends.
With the amount of players England had missing and the fact that Ukraine didn't know whether to stick or twist, it's no surprise really. Good result for England. Move on!
Sorry with the team that played tonight, that was a good result. Centre backs solid, Gerrard excellent Walcott, Lambert, Lampard, Wilshire and Milner OK On the counterside...Cole and Walker poor....and Young played like he had studied the Diakite's book of football skill and didn't understand the words.....But result means it is down to us (didn't understand what Ukraine were doing at the end...playing for a draw too....to guarantee at least 2nd spot perhaps...search me) .... so fingers crossed somebody turns up to play in October
Ukraine may just think that they are nailed on for 6 more points, whereas its well within the bounds of credibility that one of Poland or Montenegro will get a point off us at Wembley. The Ukrainians did after all (****ing hell, Scotland nearly did), and we only drew with those teams away. Roy knows how shallow and limited his pool of players are and is doing his 'hard to beat' stuff. I think it would do us good to finish second and have to play off against a decent team (France and Spain are in the same group, could be one of them) to really set expectations accurately.
Rather watch the Rsss than that at present. Uninteresting, dull, lacking creativity and lucky to get the draw even though Frank nearly nicked an undeserved win. Roll on Saturday.
He couldnt even do that in the last game, he lost the ball twice within 2 seconds and a third time he tried to kick it off one of their players for a throw and just booted it out of play, he really is that bad.
