From recollection, as most of the asylum seekers who land in Oz arrive in 'rickety' boats, it's the women who get tossed overboard first when the boats start taking on too much water. :(

I have a friend in Oz who met his wife that way - he was on a weekend fishing trip on the Coral Sea when his boat diverted to rescue six women who had been tossed overboard from a boat full of asylum seekers that had started to founder - she was one of them. They were lucky to survive in those waters - shark infested. Fortunately there was no room on the fishing boat for the men who tossed her overboard...

He is being boo'd when he touches the ball as well for some stupid reason. Are there some Scotts who are that ignorant?

Er - I think the boos are coming from the home 'fans' - the Tartan Army quite took to Anya on Friday & I doubt it would be them.

He's playing quite well at the moment - Scots attacks all coming through him, and there have been plenty. ;)

Absolutely. He is in anothe class compared to the rest of the Scottish team. Every time he crosses the ball to where a decent striker would be the striker is 3/4 yards behind it.

Trying to remember when was the last time that we were more interested in Scotland's football fortunes than how England were doing. <doh>

Don't know if Luxembourg have ever won a match, but they've just taken the lead against Nth Ireland with two minutes to play. <yikes>

They said on 5-Live that Luxembourg have won more Eurovision Song Contests than they have World Cup qualifying games!

They have to win one game at some time. Northern Ireland were unlucky to be the nation to suffer.

Ísland are in second position after we beat Albania 2:1 and Noregur lost 0:2 to Swiss.
