Exactly how much does the female team get from your ticket price?

Only in desperation in the background or highlights. Sitting through an entire game is similar to watching women's footy but not as bad.

Over £1m a year of men's football income is used by the FA to fund women's football.

From the ticket price for an individual ticket it's **** all, but it would have been enough for us to sign Shane Long(allegedly).

    If it's 1p, it's 1p too much.

Agree with this, I'm sure it's a great game and everything and it doesn't matter to me if it isn't the same standard as the men's game (you'd still watch City in the conference wouldn't you?) but forcing it down our throats all the time is irritating. The same as when they go on about how great it is that x number of black, asian or disabled kids are now playing football and how wonderful it is. And how the media get all upset about how few black managers there are. I just don't give a ****! I can't believe so much time and money is spent on forcing certain demographics into certain activities.

Not if its just over 1m between all teams, that would not have enabled us to sign Long.

I know for a fact that Hull City the club do not fund the ladies team at all.

Obviously not, it wasn't supposed to be a sensible comment.

The women's game is funded by the FA, the FA is funded by the men's game.

The teams themselves receive no funding from the FA at all

Hull City ladies are the only team in their league where the players don't have to pay subs, due to a kindly benefactor. All the teams have to pay for kits, registration, even pitch hire for their games out if their own pockets so **** knows where this funding is going

Quite right too. Sunday league standard so Sunday league rules - you pay your own subs, pitch etc!

The only good female sport is tennis. This is from an entertainment view and not tubbys perverted view

And the Men's game is funded by TV. And (apparently) more Women watch TV than men. So you could argue they are supporting us!

Cant someone post a picture of the team, see if any are doable and then we can decide whether we support them or not

I've said it before & I'll say it again you would get more entertainment & talent if you trained chimps to play tennis

If you look at the England womens team I think you would say about 20% are remotely attractive, many of the others look like blokes & are probably dykes

You'd think SuitedandBooted would be one of the people who hates ladies football really. It's a bit amusing seeing him defend it like a a 'lefty'.
