Just had a gander round town. Christ its not looking good is it. Yates' and loads of shops empty or boarded up. Fair play to Bronx and another sports shop further down Jameson St but not a lot else. Masters Bar has had a clean up and Cheese can be bought as a freehold!! PLT you can tell the fruit n veg man yourself, he's a big lad!! Alright tho, he used to clean my windows.
Anyone happen to know how much the Cheese is up for sale for? Had a look on Christie & Co and it's a closed site, you have to register to get details and I don't want them driving me mad.
You may have missed Hendrix but a local lady who liked romantic moments with pop stars did not.She "met" Jimi and he said he would write a song about her.She as called Mary. My mate from Centre Bar tried to get into Baileys by shinning up a drain pipe-nearly made it.Broken leg.
Was that its name? Wouldnt have remembered that. Apparently Roman Polanski ate there once and the rest is.............
Great spot for parking up scooters. Or alternatively right next to the old portland hotel that's being converted into students halls. I see your business brain working here.
Some great acts (and some not so great!) but I remember Status Quo, James Brown, Julie Driscoll and the Brian Auger Trinity, the Drifters and "The Fabulous" Temptations. The Fabulous Temptations were indeed fabulous but, unfortunately, not the Temptations.
