Good Morning Everyone, Paul Connelly is training with Millwall The 29yo right club who spent a long time on loan at Preston last season has met up with Steve Lomas' men as he looks to resurrect his career. Jamie Ashdown and Sam Byram completed 90 mins during a development game against Sunderland at Thorp Arch yesterday. Leeds lost 2-1 with the Leeds goal coming from Simon Lenighan.
Morning ... Connolly at Millwall sounds about right. Byram should make the bench on Saturday, no rush.
Morning all. You lads will be able to start booking your tickets for Rio after tonight while we will be finding the nearest skip for Trapattoni. I notice there was no comment on how Byrams injury was after the 90 minutes. Hopefully we'll have him back soon
I won't Morning. I got an email today from not606 today saying they missed me. That was nice, no=one's ever missed me before. Eire. Please, please don't sack Trap. Mcdermott is already third favourite to replace him. With our luck he'd be offered the job!
'Paul Connelly is training with Millwall' It would seem Leeds are becoming a feeder club for Millwall nowadays, how the once mighty have fallen
O'Neill I think is favourite. As hes out of work, would seem the cheaper option. Wont matter anyway with half our team made up from the Championship, they're probably beyond help
Morning all. Eire I don't normally bet against Ireland, but tonight it should be a home banker, so expect an Irish win...
Maybe we should plumb the toilets straight through to Millwall,as they seem to want all our sh-t. please log in to view this image please log in to view this image MILLWALLLaughing stock.
Too little too late anyway Shaks. Kinda hope we lose and put us out of our misery. I keep saying I wont watch the Irish games, then end up sitting through two hours of ****e. Fair City for me tonight
Ireland's issue is not the manager, its the quality available to him. FFS, Green is not close to International standard, for example. Easy to blame Trap, his players are average and just not good enough. Ireland, like England and Scotland, don't have enough players at top clubs anymore.
True, but I still think Trap is to blame as well. Players have spoken out about how they just don't understand what tactic they are supposed to be using. I'll be punishing myself by watching the England game again tonight. I'll be rooting for Lambert, and hoping that Barkley gets a run out again.
Agree to a point. Lot of the players not good enough but Trap is hiding behind that fact. He only started going to games recently when forced to by FAI, previously preferring to watch DVDs of his players while at home drinking wine. His English is rubbish with players now admitting they can barely understand him or his tactics. Every time we take the lead in a game, we end up losing because there is no plan B.
