I saw all of those games and saw him at Palace. He impresses people because he runs around a lot. He's energetic, but in reality he's tactically inept. He chases after the ball and often lunges in to win it. He lack finesse and skill... but you can't fault his effort and eagerness. But above all, he's likely to be on a very high wage while better players at the club are not. You have to compare what he offers the club against what he takes away. That's why he's top of the "get rid" list for me.

Thanks for your divine opinion observer of all and expert on everything. <ok>

Why are you still here trolling anyway? Haven't you got a million businesses to run? Or fellow Premier League fans to chat to? You need to make the most of it...the season ends in May, then the inevitable slide back to League Two begins for the City Tigers...

That's because replying to your lame trolling only deserves about 0.0001% of my attention - which is actually generous when you think about it.

    Amended nonetheless.

You've got your opinion Gangsta but I have to say I can't agree with it ... "He chases after the ball and often lunges in to win it" could equally be applied to Paul Scholes and plenty of other top pros. You have no real basis for calling him tactically inept other than the 'fan's condition' that you commenced posting with ... personally I still think he could be an excellent player in the right team and under the right manager (for him) .. that's not going to happen for him at the King Power so he does need to move on ...

Danns was a headless chicken. While he did add some much needed steel to our team at the time he is no longer any use to use. As soon as Danns lost his place in our team we start to show discipline and pick up results.

Danns doesnt fit in at our club and to be honest he never really has. Sven signed too many midfielders that none of them could get into the team and make their mark. Nigel has come in and Danns was given opportunity but he failed to really take them, one he did look like he could make his mark he let himself down by getting sent off. His only hope of getting back into our team this season was if Nigel wanted to add some experience to it with King, James and Drinkwater all quite young. But Nigel then went and signed Dean Hammond meaning Danns is this season just like he was last season, he is surplus to requirements.

With his contract now running down I think its probably would be best for all parties if the club and Danns sat down and tried to work out a deal so he could leave on a free transfer

As for Waggy I dont have a bad word to say about the lad. He has always gave his all for our club and gave us alot of good memories of him. He showed last season we still has alot of talent but he really needs to leave to get first team football and get his career back on track. I really want Waggy to reach his potential here or elsewhere

True - but Scholes has many talents that Danns doesn't have (some mentioned above, many, many others not so).

The tactically inept comment refers to him chasing the ball (among other things), which left gaps in which more intelligent opponents simply passed the ball into. So often when it looked like he was "all over a game", he was actually as much part of our downfall as any player on the opposite team. I seem to remember a game at home against Barnsley in which this happened a lot, with one Danny Drinkwater making him look a fool on several occasions.

I agree he could do a job for a club, but his wages need to go down by a long way and it's likely to be a Championship club with aims of avoiding relegation rather than aspirations of promotion.

Comparing Paul Scholes to Neil Danns is laughable

Xavi called Paul Scholes the best midfielder of the last 20 years. Danns has never really made his mark anywhere other then at a struggling Crystal Palace side

Danns was clearly available for loan to anyone who would take him last season, and he ended up at newly promoted Huddersfield.

Not even his beloved Crystal Palace wanted him back...

I've got one business to run and I've been talking to plenty of Premier League fans, but I like to still find time for the little people, one should never get too carried away with oneself.

... try and keep up ... the context was "He chases after the ball and often lunges in to win it" ... find me one bit of that sentence that does not fit Paul Scholes ... even the guy that wrote it commented "True" in response ... so, in that context, it is not 'laughable' it is, without doubt, apposite...

Neil Danns, in my opinion, when fully motivated and committed, is a player that could hold his own in the Premier League ... he has shown that at previous clubs and in flashes for us ... with the best will in the world, Andy King, Matty James and Danny Drinkwater have still got a lot to prove in that regard ...

... what seems inevitable is that he will have to leave to find first team football because our manager is only likely to play him if he has no other option available to him ...

That is true Jack - but Huddersfield did come up with plenty of dosh, not least from the sale of Rhodes and wouldn't have been put off by the wages as I suspect many teams were - it will be interesting to see where Danns ends up - particularly if he doesn't move until he has run his contract down so his wages are not then a barrier ...

Demand for Lambretta's has never been higher, A good one will cost you anything up to £10k.

Way out of your league I'm afraid.
