It happened yesterday morning. Started from Victoria Park in Latchford. I was in the Cheese (surprise, surprise) and two mini-buses full of Scousers poured in at 12.00 noon. Out of all of them, there was only one blue ****e. The big shock is that it wasn't tobes.

There were about eight of us smoking at the bar when they arrived as well <laugh>

I run (mostly jogging nowadays, old joints and tendons permitting). Not got four legs, but the women I know call me the tripod.... <whistle>

Seriously, I mostly keep to the treadmill in the gym now and rarely do anything over 40 minutes. I did a pretty good 10k in 40-ish minutes last month - then took a fortnight to recover. This time in five years I'll be doing half marathons in a motability scooter. :emoticon-0106-cryin

My knees can't take the impact anymore mate (many years of playing tennis on hard courts in poorly designed tennis shoes), so I'm stuck with rowers & cross trainers these days, not that I ever like running anyway tbh.

My knees are fooked too, many a year of fast (all right, steady medium) pace bowling on hard cricket pitches have caught up with me...
Treadmills don't help so stick to rowing/cycling at the gym, gives the body a workout without hammering the joints as bad as running would..

My knees are utterly ****ed with arthritis. Too many torn ligaments and cartilages over the years.
