Alright Mags, this is my first thread post so bare with me.. Ive just bought my first season ticket (after 21 years it was long overdue) and fancied Aston Villa as my first away game on Saturday, theres been no interest from any of my mates but still thinking of making the trip through 'Back Page Travel' alone. But got a few questions, is alcohol allowed on the buses? do many people use Back Page Travel? if anyone is making the trip by car and has a spare seat would you like to car share with a very decent petrol/diesel contribution from myself (Back Page are charging £33 soo would pay upto that amount) or if anyone is travelling via Back Page alone I wouldnt mind someone to have abit craic with on the way down Abit nervous, this is only my second away game (the first being Preston in our Championship season and there were a fair few of us then) and not sure of the rules of the coach or anything. There's always a bus load of like minded people going on the coaches to the away games, so no problems there. A good bunch of regs use the BP so so you'll be in good company. Alcohol on the coaches isn't allowed as it's against police instructions. If the coach is stopped by the police and there's alcohol on board, the alcohol will be confiscated and the coach turned around and sent back to Newcastle.
