I always thought Glamorgan were supposed to be rubbish. Their bowlers are doing a tremendous job.

They have some handy players, Glamorgan.

Not least one of my favourite ex Sussex players Murray Goodwin.

I'm so pleased he's got another chance to win this competition.

Chris Wood's last 2 overs went for 35. Hants lost by 31. Although the batting display was average, that proved costly.

Very good point AL, if he'd only gone for a few, the mindset of Hampshire would have been very different.

Angus Fraser's just backed you up too.

Glamorgan played well and deserved to win. Very disappointed with Hampshire, had a "one of those days" feelings from early in the glamorgan innings. Didn't bowl well, didn't field well and when batting, couldn't pick the slow deliveries at all.

It was one of those "Trott" innings from Jimmy Adams. Got runs, but too slowly.

I'd say the run-out that Jimmy somehow failed to execute was more costly. After all, it was Wright who then immediately hit 19 of the 20 runs which came of the next over, one of those two expensive Wood overs.

Really not Jimmy's finest hour today allround. 40-0 after 7 overs was a good start. Hard to explain what then happened for the next 20 overs

Carbs gone. Poor shot. Think that's his England career over already.

He certainly did and I think England selected him, not totally convinced he's the right person, but couldn't really not pick him after the season he's had. Always had the feeling that he's not the "right type" for the England set-up.

Sadly, unless he delivers on the pitch, he won't get another chance. He may see out this series, unless his confidence gets shot.
