    Immediately thought of Czechoslovakia, but that didnt have a star and had arrow head blue band...but I think a definite "Slavic" colour. Fascinated enough to Google...but as yet without success

    Ok it was previously used as a the national flag when Texas was an idependant country...I was completely up the wrong end of the world

    It was also the flag of the independent, sovereign nation of the Republic of Texas, 1836-1846.
