Support your country and be bloody proud of it too. Shout it from the rooftops that you want England to win everything they go in for, what's wrong with that. You won't know this but I go to our games with three posters on here. Dreyfus and Pinball are both English, Billybjack is Welsh. We all support the same club but on international day we go our seperate ways and I wouldn't have it any other way. The rugby days are fun but its just banter and I feel adds towards our camaraderie. When the four of us went for a weekend to Blackpool we had Wales v England in ten pin bowling and in snooker (Wales won ) we got them soooooo pissed !! As for ****holes, they're everywhere, always have been and always will be.
Valley is quite correct. If you think there are "****holes" in the U.K.,then think again. By comparison to some of the places I lived in West Africa,(some Africans wouldn't live/visit there and were incredulous that I had),the worse areas of U.K. are utopian in comparison.

The trouble with Vetch is he cannot handle any debate that questions his universe, and it's pretty similar with the knackered one too, though vetch at least does attempt to keep it civil, something the knackered one will never fathom out, but as for vetch's twist on my comment of "Annihilation of a race" well that's just a juvenile response he's made, because he doesn't like the truth, the only annihilation of a race was in the gas chambers of the second world war, and it was at the hands of the Germans, bring it up to date, and you have the Germanic English supplying Syria, with the chemicals to make the deadly chemical weapons that we are now seeing in Syria, make no mistake while I have many friends both German and English, these two are problem children, and always have been!................

Secondly, I disagreed with your comments about modern Jews not forgiving Germans for the holocaust. Some will agree, some not. It's a difference of opinion that (surprise surprise) should be the lifeblood of a forum. Simply because some of us can string a few sentences together we're branded as "high and mighty". Lastly, I returned to this thread for a different reason. My wife just phoned me from town to tell me that two guys were feeding pidgeons with bread as she walked past and one of them picked up one of the birds and promptly rung its neck in fron of shoppers going past with kids. Nice guy. I suppose a tourist seeing that and following your logic will think we're a cruel, nasty people. Anyway, the topic's been done to death so no point in going around in circles. It's interesting to see other posters points of view though, even if I disagree.
Facts are Facts Knackered, and it's no good watering down the hideous past of both the English and the German races, they are both Germanic and both in the same boat as far as I'm concerned, and it's no good you and Vetch trivialising what is well documented as History now, bringing your own personal views from your small and insignificant worlds, bears no reflection on the historical perspective, and inferring those of us that have our eyes open to the real truth, as bigots, is really damaging your argument completely. The Anglo-Saxon mentality now drives the USA, and our 'British/English' government give it 100% support, just because some of us who live in the UK see through all this doesn't constitute Racism or bigotry, when we do not give our support or approval, and call it as it is. That is why posters like Mabon, are always close to my heart!...............
