Care to expand on that? My Mrs just bought a fridge freezer. We call it Tyson cos its big, black and ugly.
Did it come with a tiger ? I posted this thread after watching Ricky Burns getting battered and the judges scoring it a draw .
Burns is in the paper saying he has no idea how it was a draw...disappointed for him, good fighter but heard he got his **** kicked in.
With my eyes open Reb . A manner that two of the judges at last nights fight obviously decided against .
I know if one judge had Burns winning that fight by three points he was watching a different fight from every **** else . Or mibbe you agree with him ?
Everyone agrees Burns was well beaten and the decision was terrible . Everybody apart fae Paddy King that is .
As soon as the they announced the first judges numbers i said to myself this will be a draw . How many times have we seen these decisions? It's a joke . BTW i was wanting Burns to win and if it had been a close decision i would have said no more about it . It was nowhere near close though .
You never scored the fight. You very recently cited the possession stats of a Champions League game as a means of trying to denigrate Celtic. The game that you cited, Celtic won by two goals to one. That is the most pertinent statistic in that match. Boxing is scored on a "ten points must" system where every round one, or both boxers must be awarded ten points. It is not scored on the number of punches taken across the fight, nor is it taken on how busted a boxers jaw is at the end of proceedings. By conceding that you did not score the fight you once again demonstrate that you are wholly unaware of identifying the things actually count when judging a sporting contest, let alone conducting that judgement. It was a very close fight. Burns was beaten up, but the scoring was very close.
Yeah, ok then. Boxing is corrupt because a guy who didn't score the fight says the scoring was wrong and 2 guys who didn't see the fight agree with him.
