The Saffa's racked up a cricket score in the rugby last night too, sports in trouble here and it's set to last a while with the new government just voted in. An Englishmans dream? Well I am enjoying it but I hope it doesn't last too long, Australia needs its sporting heros, like us poms.
It was a special 'one off' test just so the Australian cricketers didn't so feel lonely ............................. to think, it wasn't that long ago that we were tops in many chosen sporting fields around the world. Even ice skating speed skating, albeit last man standing. For a relatively small country by world standards, we were the golden-child of sports men and women. How the mighty have fallen.
