I'd have asked Kimi why the hell he'd want to go back to that circus.

I find it hard to believe Alonso going back to McLaren...................BUT! Imagine the financial clout McLaren would have, Santander AND! Carlos Slim Jr backing them with Honda engine down the line, serious $$$$$ powah!

Alonso would have to accept equal status but I find it doubtful that Perez would be a threat anyway, until he makes contact though...

I think Sutil saw his opportunity to give Hamilton some payback...he has been bitching about Hamilton not coming and talking to him. What..did he want Hamilton to lie for him in court because they were friends? Is that something a friend would want his friend to do... Lie and go to jail? I think that is a friend Hamilton to do without. So i think Sutil just decided to give his old friend a late gift from that old incident. Just my opinion...if you are slowing down are you going to be on the racing line when you know cars will be screaming coming at you in final stages of Q2 .... especially in that corner?

The former, I think. And I also suspect that Lewis was blaming himself on camera so as not to give Adrian the satisfaction; notice how emphatically he replies "Yes, he did!" when asked if Sutil had impeded him. (BBC interview with Lee)

I am starting not to like Paul De Resta. He made a mistake....say you made a mistake and move on....he had to say... Something broke...something broke! Is he for real? Something broke alright...he broke the flicking car didnt he?

And yet Whitmarsh has gone on the record as saying that McLaren got it wrong with Alonso, that he regretted it and that if he could do it again, he would do things differently.

If it was intentional, it's about time Sutil grew up.

It's never his fault, it's either the team or the car. He's starting to be disliked by a lot of F1 fans now. He needs to improve his attitude, if he has any hopes of getting a top drive then he says to start taking responsibility for his actions.

I think Lewis is starting to mature... Even though he knew Sutil has given him the bull in Q2 he still wants to play it down and blame himself for not doing better the previous lap... It was clear that he would have easily been through to Q3... But still he couldn't have gotten close to poll because Braun admitted that his floor was damaged earlier and they that they picked it up too late. It was costing him lap time. Maybe a good thing he is out...what they have to do now is start him on the hard tyre and let him make a run at it...they did good times on the hard tyre in Q1 so I think they could make a long run on the first stint and see where it takes him....what do you think?

If he continues like that none of the top teams will want him even close to their garage.

It certainly gives them strategic options, but with so many cars ahead, it's going to be a long hard day.

I agree! I was thinking that would be the best way to go, to opt for the opposite to the cars up at the front. Shame about parc fermé as I suppose he'll have to drive the race with the damaged floor. If it wasn't for that, I could have seen him push for third, optimistically.

Vis-à-vis di Resta, I did notice in his back-to-my-roots film that he was trying to tell Lee McKenzie how grateful he is to Force India and how he'd like a podium or a win for them. Someone must have had a word with him! Not sure it'll make much difference though, long term ;)

If the first stint is dry and the rain comes after, maybe it will help him if the cars on the mediums have to pit a second time when the rain starts...who knows. And maybe a safety car or two. Also watch out for Webber's clutch at the start...lol

I'm just gutted Montoya left :( I hear there's this crazy good kid Mclaren are backing called Louis Hameydon or something, apparently he's doing really well in GP2. I'm most excited about Nelson Piquet Jr. though!
