Crucial Extreme is a good guy who doesn't make **** up: (Autosport)

I am a huge fan of Fernando, but there is no doubt from any Italian as to what was said and what he meant. Plain & simple, he criticized the team. Here is former Ferrari Engineer Luigi Mazzola's response to my question:

Me: Ing(Engineer) Mazzola what do you make of Fernando's comments after Quali?

Mazzola: "it Looks like Alo doesn't have confidence in the team"

Be careful Silver, you'll soon have all of Maranello trying to track you down for stirring the pot! Although for a Vettel fan it probably is great fun watching this unfold, I think it's just one big understanding with interviews/radio messages being translated.

Ferrari's annual slipstream trick to boost Alonso's quali didn't work out again. FA shouted over the radio that the team were a bunch of idiots and now all hell has broken loose.

Seems Alonso didn't call them "stupid" but "geniuses'" with the sarcasm included with regards to the yearly towing stunt. Luca was fuming about something with regards to qualifying and one hell of a **** storm has kicked off because of it. To me it seemed Massa stood up Alonso as he was on a good lap himself (no windup intended from my end).

Now nobody has a clue what is going on apart from speculations and more "stories" on Alonso's/Massa's future with Ferrari.

Blimey... Just been reading some of this. It doesn't look very good at all. It's like they're all at each other's throats.

What happened to Ferrari... They were ruthless in the Schumacher years... now they couldn't organize a piss up in a brewery.

I call BS on Luca as well, Massa has already been replaced and he intends to ruin Alonso's year in the process as subtle as possible.

Autosport: Ferrari's 2014 Formula 1 driver line-up verdict now imminent

Ferrari president Luca di Montezemolo says the team's 2014 Formula 1 driver line-up will be decided within days - and he did not rule out a return for Kimi Raikkonen.

With Ferrari having evaluated for several weeks whether to replace Felipe Massa for next year, di Montezemolo revealed at Monza that decision time was imminent.

"We will think of this [the 2014 drivers] immediately after Monza because we wanted to arrive at this weekend without any strange pressure," said di Montezemolo to reporters in the paddock at the Italian Grand Prix.

"We will take a decision in the next days - and we haven't taken any kind of decision yet. We haven't signed a contract with anybody. We will talk with Massa, then we have our opinion, and then we will decide."

Although Ferrari insists that a good performance at the Italian GP could still be enough for Massa to keep his seat, the team has been seriously evaluating other options.

And although most of the current speculation has revolved around Raikkonen, di Montezemolo said that the shortlist was longer than just the Finn.

"We can take somebody else... we have several names," he said.

    NO BARRIERS TO RAIKKONEN RETURN

However, di Montezemolo did make it clear that despite the circumstances of Raikkonen's departure at the end of 2009 to make way for Alonso, it would not be impossible for the Finn to return.

When asked if he would be comfortable working with Raikkonen again after what happened before, di Montezemolo said: "What happened? We won a world championship.

"Kimi is a good driver. For us it was a big satisfaction for him to win the first championship without Michael [Schumacher] and without Ross [Brawn].

"In any case, it is not a problem, but also there are some possibilities with other drivers. But there is also the possibility like last year that we decide to continue with Felipe."

He added: "We haven't taken any kind of decision yet at all. In any decision you have to be very careful because you have a plus or minus.

"Now is time to take the decision. Before was too early, but we will take it now."

Alonso needs to not let his frustrations overflow. If Ferrari give him the boot... there really is nowhere else to go, other than down.

This is what button had to say....and I think he is also making a play for Ferrari too..in the sly..this is what he had to say.

“I see everything depending on what Felipe (Massa) manages to do here and in Singapore. In Formula One, your most recent results count the most,” he said.

One candidate linked recently with a possible move to Ferrari next year is Jenson Button, but it appears the Briton is fully committed to McLaren for now.

“Well, he doesn’t seem very worried about his future, does he?” team boss Martin Whitmarsh told the Italiaracing publication at Monza.

“He is a great ambassador for us and a great driver. In principle both parties are in agreement and the right time will come for an official announcement,” he added.

Button also ruled out moving to Ferrari.

“Ferrari will always be an option for me,” said Button. “But there have been no serious discussions.

“So there is definitely no chance to go there this time. I believe they will continue with Fernando and Felipe.

“But I did hear an interesting rumour today,” said Button. “Someone told me about Fernando going to McLaren.

“I don’t know if it will happen — he didn’t exactly leave McLaren in a good way (in 2007),” he added. “But let’s wait and see.”

If Luca wants to play all these silly games, he shouldn't be surprised at the effect it has on the team, especially the two drivers.

    OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

Q: A driver line-up of Alonso and Raikkonen would definitely add to the excitement of a season, both in and outside the car. But why would Alonso nod through having you as his team mate?

Kimi: Go ask him! But I don’t think that he is the one to decide who is racing for Ferrari.
