Bad news...Rickie doesn't strictly play as a lone striker. He tends to drop back and create chances for others. Who is going to receive his pin point passes now? Wellbeck and Rickie looked good together.
Just checked out The FA's announcement on the Facebook page. Lots of "come on Rickie", "play Lambert then" and "Lambert will do the business" comments. Nice to see.
It'll have to be Walcott I guess. I imagine with Milner on the left Walcott will be given licence to get forward as much as possible. In fact I'd probably put Walcott on the left in Welbeck's normal position and play Milner on the right, Walker looked like he would need some help. But they won't do that, of course.
