Vintage this week as in "quality" and as a tribute to Simon 'Digger' Davies who announced his retirement earlier this week
Agreed. Even without that goal against Hamburg, he was a class act on and off the pitch. Shame there aren't more players like him.
Definitely agreed. Speaking of tributes, I thought you'd appreciate this Captain.,, @FulhamFC: Today's #FFC cult hero is Simon Morgan who arrived back in 1990 & would go on to play 11 years at the Club. http://t.co/x0WZqLOJMe #onlyone

Blimey, I wondered why Morgs hadn't thanked me for his birthday card. You're correct of course Surly; mea culpa.
Captain says it all, wish there were more like him. Never anything less than 100 per cent on every performance. That goal against hamburg will never be forgotten. Hope he remains involved in the game.
Simon Morgan has been the heart and sould of FFC. Without him on the pitch, I'm not sure we'd have escaped the dark days from the bottom division. He and Micky made our team gel together. However, I also remember the best 12 minutes of his career when when he got MOTM. C O Y W
