LOL good night for me to debate Welbeck <laugh>

    100% mate.

Two goals against Moldova wont convince me otherwise. I was talking about major honours.

Joshua King scored for Norway against Cyprus today, good strike. Former Man Utd player, now plays for Blackburn. We (Norway) ain't going to win anything either ;)

Missed all of the goals, but all I saw in the last 30 minutes was woeful finishing, especially from Wellbeck.

I completely agree Norway. Regardless of his brace tonight I'm totally unconvinced. He gets into good positions, but he's just way too sloppy. If he was more clinical he could have easily had five or six tonight.

Against better teams at international level that kind of sloppiness will cost you. Not international standard IMHO.

    I simply don't get that.
Two more goals from Welbeck........the 2nd a brilliant finish and a great, pacey run for the 1st. He's quick, links play well and scores goals. I really rate him.

I was walking Stan the dog mate, ending with a swift pint in a pub which mercifully doesn't have a massive TV at full volume.

Seen the goals now, Gerrard's was a peach, Wellbeck's second a good finish. Still think the last half hour was sloppy, too much shoot on sight stuff, but the challenge is Tuesday.

They were focussed on Tuesday after going 4-0 up. A draw would be ok, but I think we'll pinch it, even allowing for all the injuries and Wellbeck's suspension.

milner is England's SWP. wellbeck is not England class and wouldn't be anywhere near the side if he played for Norwich or hull.

In this squad alone there was Young, Cleverly and Sterling on the bench.

Sterling is an impact sub and Young and Cleverly are not international standard

    ,
and Sterling could have made an impact as a sub instead of milner whos only contribution was the miss of the match.

Sterling is so lightwight....Milner is dull and reliable warhorse. I was again frustrated about finnish performance against spain. I travel all the way to Helsinki and watch them fight very bravely against skillful yet so boring Spain. Finland got more goalscoring opportunities than Spain but the score was so familiar 0-2. Spain have one and half chances during the whole match and yet they scored twice. Then again that is class i suppose and i also heard they have won some titles recently too....;)

Which is the perfect reason why Sterling should have been bought on, we were 4-0 up so there was no need for Milner. Give the young lad a chance and some experience.
