http://www.footballmanager.com/lang/en_GB Very excited about the upcomming FM 2014 and how they will rate the Swansea players, definately going to buy it, well... I always do. Anyone else here a longtime fan of FM?
Dan - I think most (not all) of the posters on here are, how shall I put this......wrinkly?........and probably don't know what FM2014 is
I can't beat my son at FIFA 13, I always get stuffed. All I try and do is kick his players all over the pitch. I have managed to get six sending offs in a game.
I tried to play once, but had to write the instructions for X, O etc down on a bit of paper. My son pi$$ed himself so I gave up
Think he meant Count as in "Count Dukula"
You should know better Phil
Those crazy Ruskies ....what do you expect with adverts like these (if only they would allow it in the UK)
Can't get excited about computer games; have tried to get into them but just don't see the point - when playing FIFA spent most of the time running around the corner flag, or into my own players whilst my opponent knocked in goals unopposed! And as for 'first person shooters' - usually got killed in the first few minutes! When I was younger used to 'go outside' and play football....on grass....with a football!! Last year had one of my students fall asleep in one of my lectures (and before you ask - no it isn't a common occurrence! ). Had a word with him after the lecture and his excuse was that he had just got the latest 'Call of Duty' and had been playing it for 36 hours without a break, after having queued overnight to be the first to get a copy!!! Have nothing against computer games per Se, but do wonder about the fanaticism that they seem to inspire - always know when a new game has been released by the effect on some of my students - shuffling into lectures like extras from Dawn of the Dead! Don't think that some of my students have ever had any prolonged exposure to the sun, they spend so long in dark rooms playing their games that their skin is unbelievably palid; if they ever wanted to get a tan they would have to spend hours sunbathing before they even got to white, being that their default skin colour is a pale blue! Would rather play my games in the real world than the virtual one!
