What about Wegerlie? Taarabt far superior Beth IMO.

I'll reluctantly lend him my shirt, although I'd be concerned if it is a good fit.

Carroll's quality but he's not a number 10, in my opinion. You'd be better off playing him as a central playmaker and pushing Kranjcar into a more advanced role behind the striker.
The Croatian could also work in off the left with Assou-Ekotto overlapping, but don't expect him to track back much. Superb technically and a great shot on him, though.

Marsh yes, Bowles yes! Forget Wegerle and Taarabt but STAINROD simply MUST be included.

i dont think they will play in the same team, it will either be one or the other playing off the front man in a 4231. i dont see Carroll being the man to sit alongside Barton or (puke) Henry.

How could Stainrod not be included. One of my early heroes.

Certainly got some players to live up to hasnt he.

But I am looking forward to seeing him play, all the reports on him are very positive. I have always liked Kranjcar as a player as well so fingers crossed he can still do it!

Well whatever happens at least Harry has tried. I think its exciting times ahead and the target has to be 90 pts for a return to the prem. 77 points now to play for in 41 games. That's 23 more wins, 8 draws and 10 defeats (7 away and 3 at home.) Sounds easy doesn't it!

You are probably right, but Cardiff went up as champions with 9 losses last year, Hull second with 15! We only lost 6 in 2010-11, thats champion form.

I thought we only lost 4 in 10/11? Watford, Leeds at home and Leeds, Norwich away. But then we drew something like 17.

We won it comfortably, but we didn't set the world on fire all the time, we just ground out the performances. Just as we are at the moment, the difference now is we still have several gears in reserve, I hope.

I seem to recall we got hammered at Scunthorpe in our championship winning season and lost 2-0 at Millwall.
