Good Hit Cannock - I wrote Strawberry not feeling 100% <doh> - but yes Coffee was the one to get rid of - just remove Strawberry and put Coffee at the end of the list!!!

and what about ´Flying Saucers!!!!´ - big favourite.

What annoys me is how they have now shrunk the bars so now there is air where chocolate should be.......Oh God this is going to turn into a "Grumpy Old Men" thread.......

Sherbert Dips were good with the stick of liquorice....Can't really see Gengis as a Sherbert Dip type of person.......

Hold on Madrid, i'm not a revels expert but i think i remember hearing they had some sort of vote to get rid of a flavour and coffee was replace with strawberry! so your not wrong mate, as for flying saucers, who can forget placing one in your mouth, it would instantly dry your mouth out and stick to the the roof of your mouth just long enough until your saliva made it through then bang - instant sherbet hit!!!

I also remember eating so many sherbet lemons i got mouth ulcers!

i fear we are drifting OT here though...

I think Genghis may preferred a good finger...

    A cadburys finger that is...

I like to bite both the ends off and use it as a straw to suck up my brew, be warned though you don't want to over do the sucking, one good suck then ram it in you mouth is my advice...

This is the most ridiculous thread ever. Anyway, Banjo! I have never eaten one , but the annoying advert (Banjo, Banjo the one for you and me, light and crispy wafer and roast nut flavour too) is an irritating tune that I can't get out of my head. We are talking 30-40 years ago, here. Whenever I try to relax, BANG, it's there. I would torture and kill the idiot who came up with that drivel.
    Cadbury's caramel rules!

    Thank you!

The adverts that I keep trying to forget - and can't - are:
    • Shake N Vac
    • McCains Pizza ("bet you can't eat one without getting some on your nose!")
    • Anything by Go Compare or We Buy Any Car

You might be right, would have been in the 70's when I was under10. They had a red/purple wrapper and the top half was dark chocolate, the bottom milk.

I think GK would of loved a Careless Whisper

I could see him shoving one up the arse of an army of little George Micheals who knelt before him drinking saucers of Yak milk
