Fav turned over... Was strong in the market earlier, but not strong in the finish... Never looked like catching the winner... Amulet @ 25's...
There were some complaints that not everyone managed to get Jamied at the weekend with Jamie Spencers exploits, I may be wrong but there may be another chance coming up in the next at Newcastle, he is on an odds on shot and I have a suspicion he thinks it will need holding up, I have another suspicion he thinks It's Frankel he is riding and I have another suspicion he believes the race to be a furlong longer than it actually is.
Hands and Heels for the fav... Easy peasey... Right gents thats me for the day, i hope you have a good weekend and hit a winner or 5...
Credit where it's due Jamie rode a perfect race. The horse is a different class but nevertheless he rode a start (which he does not often do) took a position and asked the horse to pick up with good time rather than presuming everything in front will collapse. I just wish he would ride every race like that rather than complicating things unnecessarily. Nevertheless Jamie got a horse with 5 second places to it's name to win so I must salute that
It's a Hurricane Fly This is some right **** racing today, and I never bet in anything lower than class 3 unless I feel someone has got good info. But much better tomorrow and I'll have internet access, which is a rarity these days
over the jumps occasionally with two or three declared runners, and something goes awry and you end up with one 'runner'--its declared a walkover for placepot purposes, prizes etc
Back in the day you would actually have a race on the card with just one runner, where only one was left after the last declarations. Maybe the overnight decs rule change has had the effect of eliminating one horse races. Although why it should I don't know! Watching the 6-reds snooker tourny atm - Selby doing well to come back from 5-2 down and looking to go 5-4. I think this is a recording from last night so I doubt I can bet on it!
