I think that Bond will get games in cup matches and what are the chances of Almunia getting through the season without an injury. Feel sure that Woods is cover for Bond rather than taking one of the juniors around.

It was an interesting game. I missed the start of the first half and the goals. But caught the last 15mins of the first half and the entire second half. Deeney did seem to be isolated again and any service he got was to his chest or behind him, whereas it seems that he wants balls to feet or something to run on to.

The second half was disjointed imo, but mainly due to the number of changes. Woods had little to do, but did what he had to with minimum fuss. Mensah looked sharp and confident on the ball, however he did seem to get frustrated when things didnt work out. Uche had a frustrating half as well, he seemed to think he was a tank and that he could just run through defenders every time, but he was often unsuccessful and would end up fouling the defender as he tried to win back the ball. Luke O'Nein had an off game, he seemed to be unsure of what to do at times, as if he was in an unfamiliar role, but he looked a lot more assured in an offensive capacity. For the first half of the second half Gabrielle Angella was playing as a central midfielder and he looked composed as always, but I much perfer him at CB, that way he is our last line of defence.

    Thanks for the report Dan

Guess Angella could always play the defensive midfield role if desperate, but agree that he should play CB. What I've seen, he plays that sweeper role so well, and is so composed on the ball.

Just had a look at sales were going for the Charlton game. Three seats left in the LR and nothing else. Who says we don't need a new stand?

Should create a good atmosphere. <ok>

Pretty much the view around me in The Rookery on Saturday, need to release the ball quicker and the new-boy needs to stay on his feet -something FF has learned from last season to be fair

    Not good news here: :(

"And Zola revealed the Swiss midfielder is also likely to be sidelined again with his ongoing foot problem when the Hornets travel to Barnsley on Saturday.

He said: “It’s tough, he’s got an inflammation and I don’t think he’s going to be available for this Saturday.”

It probably means that he'll also be unavailable for the Norwich match.
