Dunno if this is a good idea to help focus the board, or just my cynical way of pissing Jqpr off a bit - but let's face it, both aims are worthy.

Thught I'd start a thread where no mention of the 'f-word' is allowed, and where you are free to wander off where you will. I'd be interested to see where it leads.

Let's start off with.... Crunchies or Snickers : which of these two chocolate snacks would be Ghengis Khan's bar of choice?

    Edit: fixed it, 4-string!

You already failed in the primary aim of no mention of football Willy!

    And I just compounded it!

    Edit: Snickers all the way.

Has to be Crunchie. Genghis Khan was nut intolerant - he used to chop their heads off.

Remember hearing on QI that by killing so many people when he did, the resulting empty spaces allowed forestation to take place, and with all the new trees, Ghengis had a net positive effect on the environment!

I'm going with Crunchie as well, by the way....

Ghengis would've been a Snickers man after the Rolling Stones were used in the ad campaign - I khan get no satisfaction.

Anybody get the taste of plastic infused (accidentally?) from the wrappers; some bars are worse affected than others.

While we're on the topic of food (ish), nothing beats a Lebanese or Syrian chicken sharma.

Revels - I weren´t allowed these as a kid, apparently they were ´grown-up´ sweets?? - anyway when I did manage to sneak a packet, it was in order of preference: orange, strawberry, coconut, nut and then toffee for the fillings!!! the toffee ones were always the ones to share!!!

If you had been allowed them as a kid you would know that Strawberry didn't exist, it was a rank old coffee flavoured one instead...

We used to play a sort of Russian revel roulette, the coffee one was the bullet.

Strawberry flavoured revels indeed, kids today don't know they're ****ing born!

I always preferred the coffee one - the orange one was the one that you always hoped would be taken by your younger brother...

Still got my old Atari 2600 up in the attic - along with an old Nintendo NES. One of these days I'll either play them or flog them...
