Really don't see what Giroud did to get rated so highly. Aside from that goal, he did **** all as usual. Ramsey or Flamini motm for me.
His link-up play, work-rate, chasing the ball down, and even his defending were all exemplary. The effort he put in reminded me of the Reading Carling Cup game. He covered a lot of ground with a lot of success. The only reason he didn't score more was the lack of decent through-balls from Rosicky, Ramsey, and Cazorla. I counted at least 5 that they screwed up.
Ramsey's work rate was top notch. Giroud did fantastically well to score from Walcott's cross, it was an exquisite touch and worthy of a match winning goal
Blocking the ball on the line in the 90th minute was pretty vital. Who Scored list their stats, though I'm not entirely sure how they calculate their ratings.
International football is verging on being a waste of time anyway. We should have moved on from petty squabbles based on meaningless man-made borders anyway... please log in to view this image
I must have blotted those results out of my mind... to be fair, three out of your four goals came from top players. The closest we get to elite is Robert Snodgrass. I'll be rooting for you guys tomorrow night as you can technically still qualify. Scotland, however, are already ****ed
He's a bit of a hero of mine... even if one disagrees with his politics, his accuracy and intellect is very hard to dispute
Likewise And I fully subscribe to his political viewpoint. A man who deconstructs the layers of engineered bullshit to reveal the true motives of those who claim to represent the electorate. The world needs people like Chomsky, because otherwise people simply unquestioningly accept the spoonfed fiction as reality
I'm starting to wonder if I'm not just another one of your accounts, PISKIE... Either that, or we are proving that great minds think alike
