Hey guys. Sunderland fan in peace.

Was just wondering your take on Ki? Heard lots of good things from Swansea but would like to hear from you guys. How was his development over his time with you. Did he adapt to your team and style well? Ect...

Good luck for the season chaps. Tough Champions League draw but very exciting for you. You've held your own against Europe's elite a few times. Was thinking about a cheeky punt on you qualifying for the knockout stage.

Decent touch, good range of passing and the occasional cracking goal from distance. Not a great tackler though. Selling him for £6m was a great piece of business on our part and I had no major complaints on his time at Celtic.

Cheers fella. Did you play him as a AM or did you have him deeper in a CM role?

More of a holding role, good player but still a bit raw.

Cheers mate. I read a Sunderland fanzine claiming he can control and distribute the ball in the same time it takes Seb Larsson or Craig Gardner just to control it. Really excited about this player.

Decent player suited to flowing football, will struggle when it gets physical. He will put the effort in its just not his best attribute.

I'm sure I read a stat after he'd been at Swansea for a short while that he was statistically the most efficient passer in the league (% of passes completed to team-mates).

He's a good, efficient player - can score the occasional cracker but he's nothing outstanding.

I don't understand why Swansea let him go ...played 30+ games for them and was easily one of their best midfielders.

He's a good player, good work rate ... skillful.

We don't need a stand out outstanding mega star. We desperately need and hard working, head down consistent forward passer who help connect defence with attack. We've got our flair forward stars, they just need to be seeing more of the ball.

Then you have the right guy.

Dave Ki is maybe a little lightweight, but he plays with his head up.

I'd take him back in a heartbeat. Class player with loads of skill. He might not do the physical side but I don't expect him to, thats for others.

He was one player that I used to hate them having when we played them. He's not a battler, but he's technically very good. Free kicks were pretty good as well.

Ki was a bit of squad player and struggled to hold down a regular place - what we seen of him he did look good though. He had a player we just sold for £12m and our captain ahead of him for the centre-midfield position, so I guess his chances would have been limited.

Ki is a box to box midfielder in the mould of Steve Fulton, decent engine, technically sound, decent brain.

Overall I would rate him a decent player, and worthy of a place in the current Celtic squad, he will do a job for Sunderland.
